Mr. Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr Buys USD 350,000 Mansion In His Plan to Vacant Rehab Community; Gives a Ministerial Post to Amin Modad For the Property
Fellow Liberians, even before taking office, the President-Elect Mr. Joseph N. Boakai has violated nearly all the laws of the country especially the Code of Conduct Section 1.3. and 9.1 which frowns at bribery and gifts as elected or public officials of government.
A high-placed source within the Unity Party has confirmed to the CDC-COP that Mr. Boakai has bought a luxurious mansion located on the Marshall Highway, Boys Town from Mr. Amin Modad. The property belongs to Mr. Modad but Mr. Boakai requested to buy the property since Rehab Community is noisy and he supposes as President he'll prefer a safer community with no inhabitants surrounding. As we speak, Mr. Boakai has also hired foreigners to decorate the mansion according to a presidential liking.
Our intelligence suggests that Mr. Boakai in his quest to acquire the luxurious mansion offered Mr. Modad a Ministerial post ( Ministry of Commerce and Industry) to be run at his wishes without any interference from anyone.
Our source in Unity Party is unhappy especially for a Lebanese man to head such a revenue-generated sector of government at his preference wherein he will be giving licenses to foreigners and marginalizing Liberian businesses.
Mr. Boakai was broke and lived on loan even though he served a series of ministerial posts and 12 years as a Vice President but in a matter of weeks, this loan taker and career broker is buying and owning mansions around the country in return for jobs is a violation of the law of Liberia. An irresponsible, corrupt and criminal grandfather stole the Presidency with a plan to enrich himself and his family and this is exactly what he's doing.

Totota Fire Victim Cry For Help As Health Conditions Get Worse.
A victim of the Totota fire disaster Annie Kollie is calling on well-meaning individuals to come to her aid in seeking proper medical treatment.
According to Annie, her condition is worsening by the day due to her inability to pay her medical bills.
She narrated that since she got burned in the fuel tanker blast, she has been undergoing medical treatment at the Barcolleh Hospital in Kakata, Margibi County but can't no longer afford to pay her medical fees.
Annie disclosed that her previous bills were the sum of LD$60,000 but with the help of her family members, they were able to only pay LD$30,000, with the remaining Thirty Thousand Liberian dollars unpaid.
The Totota victim uses the medium to plead to the consciousness of Liberians and well-meaning individuals to save her life.
She at the same time encouraged well-meaning individuals interested in helping her to use her mother's mobile number 0880778972 with mobile name Miatta K. Borbor as a means of contributing.
It can be recalled on Tuesday 23 December, over 50 people lost their lives in a gas tanker blast while trying to siphon the leaking fuel from an over-turned gas truck carrying about 9,000 gallons of fuel.
