Wow, I am truly humbled to receive this prestigious Guest of Honour award. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and don't even know where to begin. I want to express my excitement and say it was an honor for me to receive this recognition.

After fulfilling my constitutional mandate as Chief Adjudicator for the Judicial Board of the Association of Liberian Students In India (ALSI), presiding over the oath of office at the 3rd democratically elected leadership inaugural solemnity, and MAMA LIBERIA'S independent day observance ceremony, I was awarded Guest of Honour by Chandigarh University in collaboration with the leadership of ALSI and the entire student body. This recognition is not just a testament to my own efforts but also a tribute to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of my family, sponsors, and colleagues on the Judicial Board.

I share this achievement with each and every one of you, and I'm grateful to have you all in my corner. I dedicate this award to my loving family, especially my mom and CEO, Mrs. Viola Dunbar, my wife Godfavor Nellay D. Kolliemeh, my siblings, and my dad, who I am proud of.

I also extend my gratitude to my spiritual parents, mentors, colleagues, workmates, fans, friends, loved ones, and well-wishers. I love you all so much! Please keep me in your prayers, and I appreciate your tireless efforts and support for the bigger dream ahead.

During his address, Chairman Sen. Moye Sr. emphasized the paramount importance of development for the citizens of B**g County, placing reconciliation and cohesiveness at the forefront of his leadership principles. He highlighted four key areas of focus: security, healthcare delivery, education, and road connectivity.

In terms of education, the B**g County Caucus Chair announced the rebranding and reintroduction of the 'Madam Suakoko Scholarship'. This program aims to alleviate the financial burden on parents and guardians in B**g County while providing deserving students with opportunities to pursue their education uninterrupted. Sen. Former NPP Chairman Cyril Allen Criticizes Indiscipline Among Liberians Regarding Police Regulations

Jeremiah Mulbah

Former Chairman of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) of Liberia, Chief Cyril Allen, has raised concerns over what he perceives as a lack of discipline among Liberians, particularly regarding adherence to recently implemented regulations by the Liberia National Police.

In an interview with journalists in Monrovia on Thursday, May 16, 2024, Chief Allen expressed dismay at the widespread resistance among Liberians towards measures such as wearing helmets and safe jackets while riding motorcycles, as mandated by the police.

Allen emphasized the importance of discipline and compliance with established policies, lamenting the tendency of some Liberians to flout regulations.

He acknowledged the validity of the regulations put in place by the Liberia National Police but criticized those who continue to violate them, labeling such behavior as indicative of a lack of discipline.

The former NPP Chairman's comments come amidst ongoing debates and resistance among segments of the Liberian population regarding the enforcement of various traffic regulations, including those related to motorcycle safety.

While acknowledging the importance of ensuring the safety of all citizens, Allen urged Liberians to abide by the law and cooperate with authorities in the interest of public safety and order.

He called for a collective effort to foster a culture of discipline and compliance with established regulations for the betterment of Liberian society.

On Day 3 of our District trip, we did our regular market visit after having some key meetings. We always find this kind of engagement personal and very effective. Most people feel seen and heard when we meet during our market or community visits.

Our market women and small business owners should be the drivers of economic growth but they are struggling to grow. We must do all we can to improve the lives of our people. We must ensure that they involved in our economic growth and become major players in our economy because right now, they are not even spectators; they have been thrown out of the stadium.

Thanks again to everyone who made our visit to District #5 , from the Campaign and party leadership, partisans and supporters but also our auxiliaries of young men and women.
