A Christmas Gift of Hope:
Fundraiser for People Living with Epilepsy
This Christmas, as we gather with loved ones to celebrate the season of giving,
let us remember those in our communities who face daily battles in silence.
Over 268 individuals, mostly women and girls, are living with epilepsy in Yarwin Mehnsonnoh Health District and across Bong, Nimba, Rivercess, Grand Gedeh, and Montserrado counties.
These resilient individuals, many of whom have been stigmatized,
are now finding hope through regular medication and support at our partner health facilities in Boyee, Kwendin, Zahnzayee and Mehnla Clinics, including the Zekepa Health Center and Maternal Waiting Home.
Your support has already and continue to make a tangible difference.
Those taking their medications consistently are experiencing better health, renewed confidence, and a restored sense of dignity.
But the work is far from over.
This Christmas,
Help Minimize Epilepsy in Liberia Campaigners are calling on you to make a heartfelt contribution that will enable us to:
Provide medications for those who cannot afford them.
Expand our outreach to communities where epilepsy is most prevalent.
Support health education and reduce stigma, offering people living with epilepsy a chance to thrive.
