A valuable resource platform to promote agriculture, offering comprehensive coverage of farmers and other stakeholders, crop cultivation, livestock management, agribusiness, and rural development. It runs an agriculture communication strategy dedicated to cultivating knowledge and innovation in the global agriculture sector with Liberia as its niche. TA transcended from the background of the limit
ed interest of Liberian media in promoting agriculture, despite, agriculture being the livelihood of more than 60% of the country's population. In fact, it is the medium through which the Liberian government has decided to grow the country's GDP and raise the economy to a middle income by 2030. Without, reinventing the wheels, TA was birthed out of the College of Agriculture and Sustainable Development (CASD) of the Cuttington University Newsletter, which was established in 2016 by six students acknowledging the efforts of various stakeholders and partners' tremendous contributions that kept them informed of project activities, and provided a space for their voice and input. It highlighted the faculty personality of the month, updates on project activities, information on upcoming events, student perspectives and quotes, exclusive interviews and “words of wisdom” from the editorial team. However, TA is now transcending to connect, inform, and inspire everyone (both involved and uninvolved) in agriculture, from farmers, investors, youth, women and agribusinesses to researchers and policymakers. We envision a world where agriculture thrives through the power of information, education, and collaboration. TA envision being the leading source of agricultural news, insights, and advancements, fostering a more sustainable and productive future for the global agriculture community.
