Oh yes, it's a great opportunity for the Ganta united Methodist School and the students of the institution, as one of their veteran student was awarded yesterday as the valedictorian of the 38th graduating class of GUMS.

He's not just a valedictorian, but also a mentor of so many quizzers of Nimba county.
This young man is no one else, but our friend, brother relative and loved one in person of G. Nyan Zeantoe who served as the quizzing captain of the school and chairman of the students democracy party (S. D. P), but they were defeated by their opponent SUP.

He served as captain of Nimba county and represend the county in the Liberia National Students Union (LINSU) quizzing competition in Monrovia and many others thing in the school and county at large.
During his tenure as captain of GUMS, they carried one trophy and four other certificats in Ganta city, Nimba county.

G. Nyan Zeantoe first year in the Ganta united Methodist School, he dux the 9th- grade class and also served as the president of the class.
Secondly, he dux the 10th- grade class, dux the 11th_ grade class and also dux the entire 12th graders of his class with an overall average of 92 percent.
This guy is one of the prospective graduate of the Ganta united Methodist School comes December 30, 2023.
He was honored by the Liberia National Academic Excellence at the ministerial complex in Monrovia yesterday.

So ladies and gentlemen this young guy needs to be celebrated as one of the great Student of our noble institution (GUMS).
It's often said and I quote, "Give the man his flowers 🌺🌹🌹 when he/she is still alive", so G. Nyan Zeantoe deserves these flowers 🌺🌺🌹🌹🌺🌹

Scholar keep up the good work don't give up on anything in life.
May the almighty God be with you through your educational journey.

It is with heavy hearts that we extend our sincerest condolences on the passing of your beloved student mulbah E Lama jr, In times like these, mere words seem inadequate to express the depth of sorrow we feel.

Mulbah E Lama jr was not just a student; he was a brave and resilient lion within our school . His impact reached far beyond the classroom, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we reflect on Mulbah E Lama jr time with us, we are reminded of his unwavering spirit and determination. Like a lion, he faced challenges with courage and pride, inspiring those around him to strive for greatness. Ladies and gentlemen let us please support and wish our quizzers good luck as they are in the nation capital for the national quizzing tournament.

As it can be record that the Liberia National Students union hosted a quizzing tournament in Ganta city, Nimba county among several high schools in Ganta.

Among all the schools that participated in the tournament, the Ganta united Methodist School begun the defending champion 🏆.
So in this case the Ganta united Methodist School is representing our beloved county which is Nimba county.

They are in Monrovia right now to face any county that will stand in their way.
People of Nimba county, students of the various high schools in Nimba county, please support those quizzers that they will have strength and power to bring the trophy 🏆 to our county.

As captain G. Nyan Zeantoe and his guys are in the nation capital, let each and everyone please make it as their responsibility to support those quizzers.
This all important tournament is hosted by the Liberia National Students union and it is among the 15 counties of Liberia.

UPDATE FROM THE INTER HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE:

On the third (3) of April 2023, the Ganta United Methodist School play theirs last game in the group stage. The boys and girls of the Lion Dem were all qualify to the next stage of the league.
Our boys defeated the Barry A Wallace Baptist High school boys 3 goals to 1, while the girls defeated the Barry A Wallace Baptist High school girls 12 home runs to 2 .
We all await to see the next stage of the league.
Finally, finally our boys and girls are very strong.

Tomorrow the Ganta United Methodist School will be going against the Barry A Wallace Baptist High school in the inter high school league.

The game will begin by 12: 00 pm with the Kickball game, while at 4:00 clock pm will be the football game.

The Ganta United Methodist School girls are standing bad chance to qualify from the group stage, because they were defeated by pioneer foundation school girls in their second games. Tomorrow they need straight win to qualify from the group stage, if they draw or lost which mean Ganta United Methodist School girls will be drop from the inter high school league 2022-2023.

Now, our boys are already quality from the group stage, because they have 7 goals and 6 points in two matches making them to be the first in their group.
If Ganta United Methodist School can beat Barry A Wallace Baptist High school 5 goals to 0 then pioneer foundation school will also be qualify from the group stage.
In the case where Ganta United Methodist School don't beat them, than Pioneer Foundation School will say bye bye to Inter-high school league 2022-2023 and Barry A Wallace Baptist High school will qualify.

THE FRIENDS OF MUSA J. KROMAH DONATED SOME ITEMS TO THE SCHOOL:

Speaking with the chairman of the friends of Musa J Kromah in person of G. Nyan Zeantoe, said they give the donation for the betterment of the students and also the administration of GUMS.

The items they donated to the school are:
the Liberian flag, the county flag and the school flag.
Making the donation Musa J Kromah stated that their donation is non_ political and they are just doing this to give back to the school.

Recieving the three (3) flags from the friends of Musa J Kromah, the principal Rev. James Y. Korlorblee told the students, since the Ganta United Methodist School was founded it is the first time for the school to have the county flag and the school flag.

Rev. James Y. Korlorblee encourage all students of GUMS to do the same that the friends of Musa J Kromah have done.
The principal said giving back to the school is making your own contribution to see the growth and development of the school.

Moreover, chairman Zeantoe told the press that they did it as a legacy, because one day they will leave the institution and students will remember them for their hard work towards the school.

The chairman stated that all the guys that were in the school from 1926 up to present they were the first to provide the school flag and the county flag in the history of GUMS.

Chairman G. Nyan Zeantoe concluded by encouraging all the students of Ganta United Methodist School to celebrate the new flag with joy.
