Matara St. Thomas’ Alumnus Takes Helm as Dinamina Editor-in-Chief

Dr. Pradeep Dharmashree Dasanayake, a proud alumnus of St. Thomas’ College, Matara, has been appointed as the 27th Editor-in-Chief of Dinamina, a prestigious Lake House Chronicle newspaper. With over 25 years of media expertise, he previously held the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lankadeepa. Dr. Dasanayake, who holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Kelaniya, is also a published author, lecturer, and the founder of Matara's "Distant Comrades" cultural unity initiative.

With heavy hearts, we mourn the tragic loss of Mrs. Udani Rajapakshe's beloved daughters. This devastating loss is felt deeply by the entire school community.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved student, Mohamed Shayaan (Grade 3-A). At just 8 years old, he brought joy and kindness to everyone around him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
