Music, Vocals, Steps of talented UCIARS students mesmerized the whole environment. With presence of all the academic, non-academic and students as well as esteemed judges, the whole premise was only a pool of laughter, pride and enjoyment.

VACANCIES

The University of Colombo Institute for Agro-Technology and Rural Sciences will entertain
applications from suitably qualified persons for the following post up to 23.12.2024.
Department of Agro-Technology
• Temporary Assistant Lecturer - English (On Assignment basis)
Basic qualifications – A special/general degree in English/Teaching English as a Second
Language/Linguistics (English medium) with/without honours.
Remuneration -
Basic- Rs. 49,860/- + COL Rs. 17,800/-(Government approved allowance Rs. 5000/- + EPF+ETF ) will be
paid
Selection - By an interview
The appointment is on a full-time assignment basis and initially for a period of One (01) year. The assignment
can be renewed up to 2 years depending on the performance.
Application forms can be downloaded from the Institute Web site (www.uciars.cmb.ac.lk). Duly
completed applications should be forwarded with certified copies of relevant certificate
(educational/professional/experience/ birth certificate and others) under registered post to rech the
“Senior Assistant Registrar, University of Colombo Institute for Agro-Technology and Rural
Sciences, Weligatta New Town, Hambantota” on/before 23.12.2024 The post applied for should
be indicated on the top left-hand corner of the envelope.
Applications received after the closing date will not be considered. Incomplete documents will be
rejected.
