How to Renew Your Sri Lankan Driving License in Malaysia
Contact the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Malaysia to obtain the checklist for driving license renewal.
A medical certificate is required for license renewal. Visit a General Practitioner (GP) and inform them that you need a medical certificate confirming your fitness for driving.
Take the Medical Certificate to a Commissioner of Oaths to have it certified.
Proceed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Putrajaya with the following documents: the certified Medical Certificate and a copy of your Visa with Passport. Get these documents certified by the MFA in Putrajaya.
Take photographs as per the checklist provided by the High Commission.
Visit the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Kuala Lumpur to apply for the renewal. (As of 2022, the charges are 420 MYR.)
