Aassrouni is a -crusted bread, perfect for stuffing with labneh, zaatar, or cheese—a street food favorite.

Recipe for 2 Medium-Sized Pieces

Ingredients:
1 ¾ cups flour
1 tbsp powdered milk
1 tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tsp yeast
¾ cup water
Sesame seeds
Instructions:

Knead all the ingredients together and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
Divide the dough into 2 pieces and let them rest for 15 minutes.
Roll out each piece, coat one side with sesame seeds, and shape into rings. Let them rise again for 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven for 30 minutes, then bake the kaak for 7 minutes.
Note: Serve warm with your favorite fillings

وصفة كعك العصروني /لكعكتين وسط

المقادير:
كوب و ¾ طحين
1 ملعقة كبيرة حليب بودرة
1 ملعقة كبيرة سكر
½ ملعقة صغيرة ملح
1 ملعقة صغيرة خميرة
¾ كوب ماء
سمسم
الطريقة:

نعجن المكونات ونترك العجينة تختمر لمدة ساعة.
نقرصها إلى قطعتين ونتركها ترتاح 15 دقيقة.
نفردها مع السمسم (فقط على جهة واحدة) ونشكلها، ثم نتركها تختمر 15 دقيقة.
نسخن الفرن لمدة 30 دقيقة، ثم نخبز الكعك لمدة 7 دقائق.
ملاحظة: تُقدّم ساخنة مع الحشوات المفضلة.
