صدر العدد الأول من مجلة "الدفاعية" في العام 1993 عن "مجموعة الاقتصاد و الاعمال" و مجموعة "مونش" Mönch الالمانية. و منذ البدء اختصت المجلة في تغطية آخر التطورات في التكنولوجيا العسكرية، خصوصاً في تقنيات أسلحة البر و البحر و الجو و الدفاع الجوي و منظومات الاتصالات و الاستطلاع و المسح و الرادارات.
لقد ملأت "الدفاعية" مجالاً مهماً كان غائباً في طول العالم العربي و عرضه، و هو التكنولوجيا العسكرية. و رك

زت جهودها سواء في المقالات أو الدراسات أو المقابلات على إظهار آخر التطورات في هذا المجال، داعمة ذلك بتقارير عن معارض السلام الدولية و ما عرضته شركات تكنولوجيا السلاح من منتجات متطورة. و طانت "الدفاعية" حريصة على نشر الأخبار الدفاعية متوخية الدقة.
و بسبب هذا التركيز على التكنولوجيا العسكرية و الأخبار الدفاعية الدقيقة، نالت "الدفاعية" ثقة مختلف الجهات سواء الشركات المنتجة للتكنولوجيا العسكرية و أنظمة السلاح أو وزارات الدفاع العربية أو كبار العسكريين العرب. حتى أنها أنتجت في 2007 كأفضل مجلة تعالج آخر التطورات في عالم أنظمة السلاح.
إلى جانب "الدفاعية" تصدر المؤسسة "دليل الدفاع العالمي" و فيه كافة المعطيات عن كل بلدان العالم تقريباً، الاقتصادية و الدفاعية على حد سواء، مغطية بذلك حيزاً مهماً في المكتبة الدفاعية العربية. و يلاقي هذا العمل الموسوعي رواجاً منقطع النظير في السوق العربية. This sale aims to strengthen Tunisia's security, supporting U.S. foreign policy and regional stability. The prime contractors will be Lockheed Martin and RTX Corporation.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the UAE Armed Forces ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the National and Reserve Service Law and the 53rd National Day in Abu Dhabi.

The event, attended by UAE leaders, celebrated loyalty, patriotism, and national service, with the largest military parade in the UAE’s history. Sheikh Mohammed praised the nation’s youth and their dedication to upholding the legacy of the Founding Fathers.

Otokar has officially signed an agreement with Romania’s Ministry of National Defense to supply 1,059 COBRA II 4x4 light tactical armored vehicles, valued at €857 million. The first 278 vehicles will be produced in Türkiye, with the remainder manufactured in Romania. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in late 2025, spanning over 5 years. The COBRA II offers superior mobility, high protection, and adaptability for different mission requirements, making it a valuable asset for Romania's defense capabilities.



On November 27, 2024, Otokar signed the agreement through which Romania’s Ministry of National Defense awarded the company the supply of the 1,059 COBRA II 4x4 light tactical armored vehicles at a value equivalent to approximately 857 million euro (excluding VAT).

The Qatar Armed Forces have proudly joined NATO's Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) Evaluation and Feedback Programme, showcasing their readiness and excellence.
