Outfliming Beirut was founded in 2016 with a goal that felt radical back then, but makes complete sense in today’s connected world. The plan was to combine a creative agency with a video production company to deliver seamless, streamlined and original video content that stands out on the most consumed platform: online. Traditionally, video production companies would receive their marching orders f
rom a creative agency, to implement accordingly. At Outfilming, we felt that that was clunky and could be done much better. When work is done in tandem instead of separately, we’re able to connect with our audience more effectively, and that’s what we’ve set out to do since then! From major campaigns for large multinational clients like Mastercard and Vice Magazine, to motion pictures like “Wind Up” (2018) featured in international film festivals across the US, Outfilming Beirut does things without the constraints of broadcast and traditional media that connect with viewers and users where they are: their smartphones and smart devices. The name Outfilming comes from our intense passion of literally being out and about and filming. Discovering hidden gems the world has to offer, but also finding ways to shed a different light on familiar parts of our lives in hopes of finding meaning in an ever noisier, chaotic existence that we honestly find beautiful.
