كلّ الشكر والامتنان لمن انضمّ إلينا في اللقاء الذي قدمهُ الدكتور بلال الأرفه لي و أجراه شارل الحايك مع الدكتور رمزي بعلبكي حول أصول اللغة العربيّة وماضيها وحاضرها ومستقبلها. وقد دار النقاش حول الإصدار الأخير للدكتور بعلبكي، فكان نقاشًا شيّقًا ومثيرًا للتفكير في واقع اللغة العربيّة، إذ اختُتِم اللقاء بأسئلة الجمهور التي أجاب عنها الدكتور بعلبكي. إلى مزيدٍ من من النشاطات معًا. سيتم نشر اللقاء على موقع يوتيوب قريباً.

‏We would like to thank those who joined us for an insightful discussion on the past, present, and future of the Arabic language with Professor Ramzi Baalbaki and Charles Al-Hayek, moderated by Dr. Bilal Orfali. ‎في اليوم العالميّ للغة العربيّة، نحتفل بلغة عجّت بثقافات مختلفة و احتضنت العُلوم منذ القِدم وتفاعلت مع اللغات العالميّة. هي لغةٌ مدّت العالم بكلمات ما زالت قائمةً في أيّامنا مثل algebra (علم الجَبْر) والعدد Zero (صِفْر) وSugar (السُّكَّر)، والخطوط المتنوّعة في كتابتها التي ألهمت فنّ الخطوط وأنظمة الكتابة الأخرى. هي لغة الصورة والشعر والفلسفة والإبداع، لغة تواصُل وتفاعُل لملايين من الناس عبر العالم، وما زالت حتّى يومنا حيّةً تجسّد إبداعات الإنسان ومختلِف أحواله.

On World Arabic Language Day, we celebrate a language that has shaped cultures, sciences, and global languages.
