Established in 1998, Darkside TV & Film production is a full fledge production house that develops content and handles full production of a variety of TV products and programs, mainly documentaries and feature stories for clients like, BBC World Service, ABC News, ARTE, TF1, France 3, TBS/HBO, DW, ZDF, TVE, ASAHI, UNTV,AL-JAZEERA, AL-ARABIA, MBC, BNN Holland… and many other independent production
companies, in addition to corporate and institutional films on demand for International NGOs and private institutions. In addition to covering the Lebanese Civil War and the Arab-Israeli conflict, we have also covered Operation Desert Storm, the civil war in Yemen and hot zones in Sudan, Somalia, Mozambique, Albania and the Balkans. Our work on documentaries and features has taken our crews to Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Spain, Gibraltar, Indonesia, Nepal, India, Tibet, Mauritania, Honduras, Iraq, Iran, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Thailand, the Philippines, Kuwait, Bosnia, Monte Negro and Yugoslavia…to name a few. To date, Darkside produced more than 100 News features and 50 documentaries on the massacres in Algeria, Politics and Democracy in Turkey, Moro Rebels in the Philippines, Chernobyl reactors in Belarus, Radicals in Iran, the genocides in Rwanda and Somalia, Tibetans in India and Nepal and Hurricane Mitch in Honduras, …(also to name a few) and interviewed world Leaders like The Dalai Lama, Bill Clinton, Jacques Chirac, Collin Powell, Yasser Arafat and many other political figures in Lebanon and abroad.
