Aida Returns screening at Al Madina Theater, Beirut is now SOLD OUT!

Aida Returns will be screened again in Beirut! April 17, 7:30 PM at Al Madina Theater. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director, Carol Mansour. This event is free. Your donations will be accepted for the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund through the donation boxes available at the theater. Tomorrow (Saturday July 30th) the Palestine Museum US is organizing a free screening of a 20 minute-condensed pre-release version of our upcoming film "Aida Returns".
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with director Mansour and producer Muna Khalidi

In "Aida Returns" Carol documents her mother's life during her final years as she struggled with Alzheimer’s. In intimate conversations with her mother, Carol captures Aida’s recollections of her life in Yafa, which resurfaced as the disease progressed. Following her death in 2015, Carol then chronicles the return of her mother’s ashes to Yafa.
