๐ฐ๏ธ Exciting News! In January 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to test out Starlink satellite devices from SpaceX, courtesy of Elon Musk, right here in Vientiane, Laos! ๐ฑ๐ฆ
I tested it in three different locations near the Mekong River, the central city, and the Dongdok campus area, and I'm thrilled to report that it's working! ๐
With speeds reaching up to 220 Mbps, it's been a game-changer for staying connected. Though, I did experience some occasional lag every 10 minutes, lasting about 15-20 seconds. Still, with this Starlink device registered in Japan and utilizing a global mobility subscription for internet access worldwide, the future of connectivity is looking bright! ๐ โจ
