Scientist
An enthusiastic biochemist born in New Delhi and brought up in Sharjah, UAE is a scientist by profession and has a passion for fitness. She is a dedicated mother to a daughter, an active toddler, and an infant.
Dr.Maryam is a recipient of prestigious Maulana Azad National Fellowship and has also won several young scientist awards for her research work both at national and international grounds. Moreover, she has published 14 research articles and book chapters in international journals of repute.
After completing her doctoral degree in 2019 from Aligarh Muslim University, India, she moved to kuwait. With the vision of Sir Syed Ahmad khan, the founder of her university, she continued her passion for science even after marriage and three kids. Currently, she works as a senior researcher in the Faculty of Science at Kuwait University, and her work involves extraction and purification of proteins from blue green algae isolated from the Kuwait Islands.
Dr.Maryam is a fine example of juggling with her professional and personal lives simultaneously.
Reflecting on her journey, she believes that science is more about resiliency and persistency and hopes that future generations, especially girls, will continue the quest to unlock the secrets of life's intricate mechanisms.
Her motto is :There is no substitute for hard work, and it's never too late to take the leap.

Through my interview I would like to pass on a small message to all the great ladies out there.... As we get older , we find out that our happiness is not about in how much we earn, how many degrees we have, how big our house is but it's about finding peace and calmness so, do what the situation wants you to do (go with the flow) prioritize your happiness and move on.... One shall never be Judgemental, we all should learn to respect and acknowledge the feelings and struggles of another... Being happy never gets out of fashion and that's the right direction!!! Ceinu Mathews
born and raised in Kuwait, has spent the majority of her life in the country. After completing her graduation in 1996, she returned to Kuwait and has remained here ever since.
Working in the Kuwait Oil Sector since 2000, she is a dedicated mother, raising three daughters. Ceinu is a shining example of successfully juggling her professional career, personal life and active participation in social and cultural activities.
From the tender age of 5, Ceinu has been gracing the stage with her talents in various performing arts, including singing and dancing. She continues her passion for singing as an active chorister.
In 2015, she ventured into acting with a Malayalam Drama which won the Best Drama Award at the KELI 2015 - Kerala Sangeetha Nadaka Academy Kuwait Chapter - 2 Day Drama Competitions, featuring four exceptional dramas.
Since her debut, Ceinu has showcased her acting skills in numerous short films (9 short-films) and dramas (4 dramas), collaborating with prestigious theaters and production houses. Her outstanding performance in a short film got the prestigious 2021 PJ Antony National Award as the Best Actress, making her the First National Award winner in Kuwait, along with the Best Actress award at the Kala Kuwait Micro film fest 2020. The same film garnered 18 awards in various categories at different film festivals.
Ceinu continued her winning streak by securing the Kala Kuwait Micro Film Fest Best Actress award in 2021 for her role in a Tamil short film.
Currently, Ceinu has acted in three other short films in the post-production stage, eagerly awaiting release. Additionally, she is part of the cast of the first full-length Malayalam Feature Film from Kuwait.
Ceinu is by nature a loner and has strived and survived the odds solely by her perseverance and as she says - ‘Give your 100% and everything else will be taken care of’.

She takes Dance and Fitness classes in Abu Halifa , helping the Kids to learn dance Technique where in they can grow in Dance career and also help the women to stay FIT through Zumba and Yoga Classes. Ronak has been a zin since 4 years and has been training as a Fitness coach. Always looking forward towards happy mental being and physical being thru her dance and fitness regimes..she is self driven with a motive of delivering varied patterns at the same time keeps a tap on performance trend too.

As a mother of a physically challenged child, it is crucial to understand that women empowerment takes on a unique context in my situation.
When my child with physical challenges came into this World I had to overcome stereotypes and stigmas by raising awareness about the capabilities and potential of my child with physical challenges and advocate for inclusivity in schools, workplaces, and communities.
Knowledge is power. By educating myself about my child's specific physical challenge, including available treatments, .
therapies, and support network enabled me to make informed decisions and advocate effectively on his behalf. I never gave up.
This helped my child develop self-confidence by appreciating his abilities and focusing on his strengths and Encourage him to pursue chess his passion. He even excelled academically and was a proud moment for a mother.
Being a woman and a mother I became a source of inspiration to many in similar situations.
By sharing my experiences and journey will help many women in similar situations feel empowered.
Remember, women empowerment begins with empowering oneself. By advocating for your child's rights, nurturing their self-confidence, and building a support network, you can contribute to creating a more inclusive and empowering environment for both you and your child.
