CRSL008: Byuljari the new Single by Seoul native Liu Lee is a special club infused contemporary pop project, an exciting addition to our catalog hitting the airwaves today as a perfect melody to end the summer. The track is produced by Liu Lee , 106 Mido and sungha and is the first in a long list of collaborations to come out of the production trio who are quickly carving out a new space in the asian club and music scene .

CRSL008: 서울을 베이스로 활동하는 아티스트 Liu Lee의 새로운 싱글 별자리(Byuljari)는 독특한 클럽튠이 스며든 컨템포러리 팝 프로젝트로, 여름을 마무리하는 완벽한 멜로디로 오늘 첫 선을 보입니다. 이번 트랙은 Liu Lee, 106 Mido, sungha가 프로듀싱에 참여했으며, 아시아 클럽과 음악 씬의 새로운 지형도를 개척해나갈 세 명의 프로듀서의 오랜 협업 프로젝트의 첫 걸음이 될 예정입니다.

'106 Mido’와 함께 서울의 독특한 클럽 씬에 새로운 목소리가 등장했다. 106 Mido는 Cakeshop CRSL 임프린트 데뷔 앨범 ‘Tower bridge Paranoia / Pyeongchang’으로 강렬하고 멜로딕하면서도 성찰적인 레이브 장르 경험을 선사한다. 이 프로젝트는 평창에서 스노보드를 타면서 착안되었다. 시간을 잊은 채, Source direct의 트랙 'Complexity'를 들으면서 얼굴에 눈이 몰아치는 강렬한 순간 속에서 떠오른 것이다.

이번 데뷔 앨범으로 Yayoyanoh, Organ tapes, Baby XD, Lil Cherry, and Omega sapien 과 함께 협업했던 다작 프로듀서가 앞으로 선보일 것들을 엿볼 수 있다. 이 앨범에는 Paypal, Woesum and DJ Taye의 리믹스가 수록되어 있다. 이들은 그의 접근 방식을 보완하면서 동시에 이 프로젝트에 대한 그들의 미학적 관점을 담은 독특한 작품으로 프로젝트가 새로운 공간 속에서도 생명을 가질 수 있도록 한다.

아시아 전역의 클럽들이 마침내 다시 열고 있는 상황에서, 이 음반은 클럽 미학을 섬세하게 소개하는 동시에 듣는 사람이 일상 속으로 정신없이 여행하게 한다.

The debut release from 106 Mido “Tower Bridge Paranoia/ Pyeongchang” drops this Friday October 28th on CRSL. With clubs across Asia re-opening,the project presents a tender re-introduction to club aesthetics that will equally take you on a heady journey into the night. The left field club project brings us a hard hitting yet instrospective take on rave genres and more. We are excited for the first Korean led Club release on CRSL with 106mido, a prolific character who will surprise us with more to 106 Mido.

We are excited to announce Byuljari (Starsigns), the first of many singles by Liu Lee on Carousel (CRSL). The avant garde Vocals of Liu Lee paired with the subtle club influenced bassline and light yet spacious production by the trio (liu Lee, 106 Mido , SungHa) carve out a new space in the Korean music scene. Byuljari is a nice departure track for the summer; its a playful yet contemplative project keeping us wanting to dance but considering so much more. We look forward to this release as Liu Lee continues to create new spaces for femme Asian artists to explore.
