Davolink Chairman Park Jung-kyu revealed details of a secret meeting with former Ador CEO Min Hee-jin, potentially affecting Hybe's legal battles.

A local report on Thursday alleges they discussed moving to Davolink and securing investments for the group.

The disclosure contradicts Min's earlier denials of meetings or negotiations, possibly key in Hybe's legal case against Min for alleged duty breach.

Meeting Details:
Park stated that he was first introduced to Min by phone in August last year, through an acquaintance who is reportedly an uncle of a NewJeans member.

They convened at Park's residence in Seoul in September, while Min was still an internal director at Ador, to explore the logistics of moving NewJeans to Davolink.

Investment Proposal:
Min reportedly proposed a 5 billion won ($3.43 million) investment in NewJeans, which Park rejected due to the inherent risks.

Instead, Park suggested a plan where Min would take over management at Davolink with the help of the NewJeans member's relative, who would ostensibly acquire the company, thereby allowing Park to profit from his shares with reduced risk.

Financial Strategy:
Park also advised Min on how to secure funding for the acquisition of Davolink, including strategies like issuing more stock to fund her future entertainment projects.

Min's Response:
Min Hee-jin has refuted these claims, denying any such meeting or discussions with Park Jung-kyu about moving NewJeans to Davolink, calling the allegations baseless.
