Mealea Mang (.mang), 17, is an aspiring diplomat and environmentalist based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The recent high school graduate serves as the lead organizer for the upcoming second annual Cambodia Youth Climate Change (CYCC), a youth-led conference scheduled for April 2024. During her gap year before pursuing studies in the United States, Mealea aims to explore new interests, including vlogging and modeling—two areas she did not have the opportunity to delve into during high school.

“I want to create vlogs documenting my daily life, which may feature my experiences in modeling,” Mealea shared with Perfect 10. “In addition to that, I am an enthusiast of taekwondo, fashion trends, and Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films, all of which could contribute to engaging vlog content.”

Expanding on her perspective on modeling, the pre-political science major expressed, “I view modeling as a means of fostering self-confidence and self-expression. It allows me to be authentic while embodying various characters, transforming the experience into a unique form of art.”

Mariya Phan (.phan), 17, is a recent graduate from a Phnom Penh-based boarding school. Self-described as an "ordinary" teenager, Mariya has become the agency's first signed music talent, with a completed six-track EP named "Interference," slated for mastering and release in early 2024. "I explore themes such as friendships, heartbreaks, insecurities—typical teen stuff," Mariya told Perfect 10. "Anyone who listens to my music will know my story in a way that I can't simply talk about to anyone."

During her gap year before her plans to study in the United States in the Fall of 2024, Mariya aims to further explore her creative side in singing, songwriting, and playing instruments. "Whatever I pursue academically in the future, I know my goal is to positively impact Cambodia."

Sengly An (), aged 19 and affectionately known as Lyz, recently graduated from Sovannabhumi High School in Siem Reap, Cambodia. As the eldest among three siblings, Lyz harbors aspirations of becoming a career diplomat, driven by a profound commitment to fostering global peace and unity. Reflecting on her formative experiences, she articulated, "I had my inaugural exposure to engaging with individuals from diverse international backgrounds during my year-long stint as an exchange student in Japan. I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of dialogue."

Currently navigating a gap year before embarking on applications to international relations programs in the United States, Lyz is keen on delving into her artistic inclinations. She shared, "During this interim period, I aim to explore my creative side. Photography and singing are particular passions of mine, and I view modeling as a means to cultivate greater self-confidence." Lyz's multifaceted pursuits underscore her dedication to both diplomacy and personal growth, embodying a commitment to global understanding and individual empowerment.

Kunthea (.portfolio.kh) is a dual Dutch and Cambodian national born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. A former student of international business in Rotterdam, Kunthea’s work experience encompassed sales and fashion, the latter of which she spent three years as a sales assistant. Some of Kunthea’s interests include reading books, dancing, and volunteering at an NGO. “My favorite model is Naomi Campbell because of her mindset and self confidence,” Kunthea told Perfect 10. “Though I’m still at the beginning stage of this industry, I want to commit to being a professional model and own a business in the future." 📸: .portfolio.kh

Tristan (.senshi), also known as Senshi, is a 21-year-old entrepreneur hailing from Paris, France. At the age of 17, he made the bold decision to leave high school and embarked on a journey to explore the world, visiting over 20 countries in the span of five years. His most recent stop before finding his new home in Phnom Penh in late October 2023 was Bulgaria.

To sustain his adventurous lifestyle, Tristan established a strategy consulting company registered in France. Beyond his professional ambitions in business and entertainment, Tristan is passionately pursuing a career in boxing. Meet Sov Men, the coach and manager at The Ring, who is ambitious to bring Kun Khmer to the world

Born in France, but Sov Men, whose parents are Khmer, is attached to Cambodia’s martial arts especially Kun Khmer that he is ambitious to bring to the world.

Sov Men arrived the Kingdom 8 years ago and figured out that he fell in love with Kun Khmer. He started to know Kun Khmer more when he became Kun Khmer fighter Chan Rothana’s conditioning coach and travelled with him at several ONE Championship fights across the Southeast Asian.

Last year, he established The Ring, a Kun Khmer and boxing gym at Koh Pich for people who want to train but not professionally.

He has recently launched The Ring Promotion, having now 4 fighters including Martin Avery, Chann Seyha, Kong Sombo and Siev Nhoy as he strives to promote the best fighters in the Kingdom.

“I started Kun Khmer with Chan Rothana few years ago. I was his conditioning coach and went with him for several ONE Championship fights,” Sov Men told The Pradal.

“Few months ago, I launched a T-shirt collection: We Don't Play Kun Khmer. It made a huge buzz around the country. This was only the first, and I am planning to launch way more.

“Recently, I’ve launched The Ring Promotion to train and promote best fighters in Cambodia. Because today many fighters don't know how to sell themselves, to train and to eat properly, I want to add the international knowledge to our fighters.

“As a certified trainer and nutritionist, I am helping my fighters reach their top level to be the best in the country and bring them to the international stage. My final aim is to promote Kun Khmer to the world.”

Sokthida Soeun (), 18, is a Grade B1-C student at Campus UK in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Born in the capital city, the aspiring teen model enjoys playing badminton, watching Youtube make-up tutorials, and surfing the internet for trending topics related to fashion and entertainment. “Two of my favorite models are Kendall Jenner and Cambodian celebrity, Daa Dao,” Thida told Perfect 10. “I love their fashion sense!” And although Thida acknowledges her young age and curiosity to explore other fields, she can see herself pursuing modeling full-time. “I truly want to become a professional model.” 📷:

Abha Velayutham, 23, is a business management graduate from Swansea University in the United Kingdom. Born and raised in Cambodia, the bi-ethnic Malaysian Indian recently returned to Phnom Penh in January 2023 to pursue his dream of starting a business. "I am interested in investment and capital management," Abha told Perfect 10. “I have always had a fascination for the markets and understanding the movement and flow of money." Meanwhile, he tries to find balance in building his career by exploring modeling. "I see [it] as an opportunity to expand my network with like-minded people and grow my social media presence to support businesses that I am passionate about. Other interests of Abha include bodybuilding, soccer, and day trading.
