Our objective is to develop childrenβs education in our remote and rural area, where illiteracy ββand poverty are major issues. It is mainly an agricultural region, which leads many parents to overlook their childrenβs schooling and put them to work instead.

Edward International School was born on the 11th May, 2017, with the agreement of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports approved on the 10th April,2017.
After achieving his master's degree in English and spending 12 years working as an English teacher for various NGOs, Mister Khom Khon decided to open this school in the Cambodia province of Kompong Speu, where he grew up.
His first goal is to develop children's education in remote and rural areas not only to fight illiteracy and poverty, but also to make parents aware of the importance of their childrenβs education. To carry on this beautiful project and allow students to learn more with more resources, EDIS needs long-term volunteers (min.3 months), partners or donation. All for the childrenβs joy and edification, to allow them to grow and bloom, and most of all offer them a better and brighter future.
His wish is to provide English lessons to all children here, for free and to offer a better future to his region thanks to the students, the parents, the volunteers, the inhabitants...
