Natembeya explains what deployment to President's office means.

Outgoing Rift Valley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya has explained what he will be doing at the Office of The President where he was redeployed on Thursday January 14, 2022.

Natembeya says he was redeployed to Harambee House to clear and prepare for his exit.

"I have resigned from the government. But when you want to exit government, there are some procedures to be followed and there are clearances to be done.

He says he decided to resign to vie for the Tranz Nzoia governor's seat .

The tough-talking security boss has been in public service for 25 years since he joined as a district officer.

Woman breaks World record giving birth to ten children.

A mother in South Africa has smashed the World Guiness record after giving birth to ten babies from a single pregnancy as she gave birth to seven boys and three girls - and they were all conceived naturally.
Gosiame Thamara Sithole,37 gave birth to decupleys,two more than her doctor had ealier detected during medical scans.

Kenyans on social media have called for the protection of investigative journalist Purity Mwambia after exposing how some police officers were aiding criminal activities by leasing their weapons to thugs.

More than 24 county assemblies have voted in favour of the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2020, surpassing the required constitutional threshold.

Focus now shifts to the Senate and National Assembly whose voting on the Bill is mainly ceremonial. Article 257 of the constitution requires that the Speakers of the two Houses receive certificates from the county assemblies’ speakers before the Bill is introduced in the respective Houses.

Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) leader Mohammed Badi has announced plans to demolish houses in a Nairobi Estate.

Reports indicates the plans to demolish houses in Kibra is to pave way for the construction of a 28km road.

The NMS boss gave the individuals whose structures stands on road reserve to bring them down promising to make good the demolition promise once the notice expires.

Former Inspector General of Police (IG) Joseph Boinett has been appointed to chair another government board.

Boinett was appointed to the organisation alongside seven other members including Sankara Hotel General Manager Krishna Unni and InterContinental Hotels boss Barnabas Wamoto
Boinnet served in the Kenya National Intelligence Service before becoming IG, and is a holder of an International Studies and Diplomacy degree from the Washington International University.
