There was drama in Machakos ASK grounds during UDA delegates meeting today after Hon. Annastacia Muthini Muendo (in yellow dress) arrived for the meeting. Some seemingly hired goons attempted to block her way to the podium, but were immediately put down by her diehard supporters. Hon. Annastacia aka Mutoto who is vying for UDA Vice Chairperson Machakos county in the UDA party grassroot elections scheduled for 28th June this month, condemned the incident and termed it as intimidation from opponents "Mimi sio mtu wa kuuziwa uoga"

MBOONI: WOMAN STONES HUSBAND TO DEATH OVER KSH 3,000
Police in Mbooni East, Makueni County are holding a 32-year-old woman accused of killing her 82-year-old husband.

According to Albanus Mutula, the assistant chief of the area, the couple had a disagreement over Ksh.3,000 with the deceased accusing his young wife of stealing the money.

Syombua Musau allegedly stoned her husband on the back, killing him instantly.

The woman is being held at the Mbumbuni Police Station awaiting arraignment. The elderly man's body was taken to Tawa morgue. ~ Via Citizen
