From Thika Breaking News TV we hereby convey our heartfelt sympathy and condolences following the death of renowned businessman from Thika/Kiganjo estate, the late PETER WANYUTU THUNGU (PEWA) who died at Kijabe Mission Hospital while receiving treatment.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE MEETING DAILY from (6pm-9pm) due to prayers and burial arrangements at;

BAT at Carbon Credit restaurant near Slaughter house,
Githunguri in Kiambu county.

There will be family mass at his residence in Thika Kiganjo estate on Saturday 2pm Date 4/1/2025.

The cottage leaves KU Refferal Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday Date 8/1/2025 at 8am followed by burial on same day at Kibichoi Githunguri in Kiambu county from 10AM.

A number of worshipers were injured last night and church properties vandalised during a night kesha to usher the new year at PEFA church Miharati in Nyahururu.

Commotion erupted after police officers who were on patrol lobbed teargas canisters to disperse a section of youths who had gathered outside the church to usher-in the new year after some youths were alleged to have hauled stones against the security officers.

The heavy deep smoke interrupted the service as worshipers scampered for safety. During the incident, the church electronics & hundreds of chairs were damaged as elderly men & women including children sustained injuries while running for safety.

She had been a businesslady at Thika town. She left behind her daughter Frasiah Shiku & a grand daughter.

Prayers and burial arrangements on going at Kenya Tanning premises Quaters from 7pm-9pm.

Cottege will be removed at General kago funeral home Thika on Friday 20th December at 8am, followed by burial same date at Kairichi village, Mugoiri in Muranga county.
