The battle for Narok governorship race has taken a new twist after President Uhuru Kenyatta said Youth and Affairs PS Charles Sunkuli is the preferred candidate.
The move will make all the candidates for the seat who have been seeing themselves as front runners go back to drawing board.
Sources say that the head of state might have settled on him after his success record in the public service.
Before appointed to the current position he was in charge of Environment docket and later moved to the Devolution department where he played a great role in ensuring counties work closely with national government by improving the lives of millions of Kenyans.
Despite coming from Moitanik clan which is viewed as one of the small clans of the Maasai community, Sunkuli is viewed is the best person to unite all the people in the county which is a cosmopolitan.

JOY FOR BOMET FAMILIES AS GOVERNOR BARCHOK GIFTS THEM.

Bomet Governor Prof.Hillary Barchok has today flagged off Christmas gifts to various target groups drawn from all the 25 wards in Bomet.

The beneficiaries of the Governor's Christmas gift included 500 households with orphans,Pwds and10 children homes received the Christmas token at the Governor's office Bomet.

The Governor took the opportunity to wish them a merry Christmas and a prosperous new year 2022.

Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ngeno has called on political leaders to maintain peace ahead of 2022 elections.
Speaking at Mugenyi village in Ololmasani ward during the reception of Narok County CEC for Agriculture Evalyne Koiyan, Ngeno urged political leaders in Narok County to exercise restraint and embrace peaceful co-existence as the 2022 General Election draws closer.
"Politicians should embrace peaceful co-existence,we must be tolerant to divergent views and avoid violence,"he said.

State Department for Youth Affairs PS Charles Sunkuli yesterday made a development tour of Emurua Dikirr Constituency where he commissioned a youth empowerment centre.
The innovation Centre could be used by various groups of youth to pursue various interests.
The PS also had a discussion with some leaders from emurua Dikirr including the Deputy County commissioner, ACCs and the council of elders on matters of improving access to information among the youth across the country.

Kilgoris Girls current Principal Mrs.Mary Chirchir.
She has proved her worth if the performance of the school is anything to go by.
She joined the institution in 2018 from Saseta Girls.
The 34 year old Agriculture/Biology teacher started her career at Tengecha High School and Saseta Girls before she was transferred to Kilgoris Girls in Narok County.
It is through her able leadership that Kilgoris Girls has reclaimed its status as one of the best schools in Narok.
