You guys need to read today's Standard pg2 on what the new Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) will cover going forward.

1. Maternity - For deliveries, SHIF will only remit Sh11,200 for normal deliveries and Sh32,600 for Caesarian section.

2. Hospital stay - Hospital stay is restricted to only 48hrs for normal delivery and 72hrs for C-Section.

3. Mothers with complications beyond 48hrs for normal delivery and 72hrs for C-Section, will have to undergo fresh vetting before accessing services under SHIF.
4. The new SHIF does not cover Antenatal Care (ANC) hospital visits. Itabidi you go back to being screened by TBAs (Traditional Birth Attendants) juu your President has a PhD in Miti Shamba (Plant Ecology).

5. In males, prostrate cancer screening will only be covered to males aged over 55yrs, whereas colon cancer screening will only be covered in males aged more than 40yrs.

6. In women, screening for cervical cancer will only be covered to those aged between 30 and 50yrs. Age capping is a drawback to early diagnosis of cervical cancer which kills at least nine women everyday in the country. The disease manifests itself in younger women.

7. The Fund will also pay Sh935 (nine hundred and thirty five) for consultation and dispensing of eyeglasses, with a limit of Sh1,000 (one thousand) per household, a service which is limited to beneficiaries below 18yrs.

8. Mortuary - The scope under end of life services include preparation and storage of a body in a mortuary, a service the cover will pay Sh500 per day, capped at five days.

9. In patient - Tariff for medical inpatient services is capped at between Sh3,500 to Sh5,000 at Level 4,5, and 6 hospitals respectively. However, this shall be limited to up to 50 (fifty) days per household annually. Take note of the word, PER HOUSEHOLD.

A romantic security guard in Uganda proposed to a lecturer at the University; The proposal took place in the middle of the road where he brought the traffic to a standstill as both passersby and police officers cheered him for taking such a bold step.

He was assigned to the female lecturer fence for over two years and that is how he managed to grab her admiration through jokes and romantic words of encouragement.

The lecturer has since vowed to send her man to school and make him the father of her unborn children.

Dear men,

No woman is going to love you for who you are.
Reconcile with this harsh truth and make a steaming peace with it.

A woman's love for you is dangerously CONDITIONAL.

The concept of unconditional love is a fallacy, it doesn't exist.

The woman that's loving you now is either loving you because she Sees what she values in you.

Either your money, resources, charisma, beauty etc.

They is always something that's making her fall in love.

Take away that thing and they will be no love.

Love means different things to different women.

It all depends on what their value is that you possess.

Now the thing is, the most recognized value that makes men looks very attractive to 90% of women is money, fame and power.

Just have this things and watch women fight devil himself to be with you, they will break their hardened rules just to make sure it accommodate your happiness.

It's as simple as that.

This is why I always advice men to chase money instead of women.

Money makes many things in life easy, it's true.

Leave women and focus on it.

The more valuable you become the more attractive you become.
