A thriving workplace values balance, knowing when to work hard and when to pause. I'm glad I had today off, not only to rest but also to recover and regain energy. In this time of rest, I’ve been reflecting on World Mental Health Day and this year’s theme: "It’s time to prioritize mental health at the workplace."
To our dear, esteemed employers, it’s a reminder to create environments where well-being is as important as productivity. For employees, it’s a call to set boundaries, know when to stop, and communicate your wellness needs. Personal growth and professional success are deeply connected to mental health, and when we nurture one, we nurture the other.
Let today be a reminder that pausing is not weakness, but a path to greater strength. Commit to do something that will help build workplaces where mental health is valued, a place of support, where ambitions are met with care, and well-being is as important as results. Remember, growth begins when we listen, to ourselves and to each other. It’s time to make mental health a priority for all.
