TOPIC: MY FRIEND AND I
One day, I was invited for a "cocktail" by KCB Group and was told to bring a friend. We were encouraged to wear blue or something with blue! Long story short, we didn't understand the meaning of cocktail, so we skipped lunch because we were going for a cocktail. As we took this photo, we were dying of hunger, and the event hadn't started. We survived that and got into the event room. Everyone sat quietly paying attention to some lady who was explaining some drawings. I saw the drawing of a woman carrying firewood, and she took like 15 minutes explaining the theme,the why, the choice of art, blah, blah, blah! In total, there were about six presentations, then the speeches, woooi. The real issue for us was "NJAA," and there was no way we were going to leave the venue. Guys were clapping softly, and there was a specific way we were expected to sit. I think we were not supposed to cross our legs or something like that!
The event finally ended at 10:00 pm, and we were encouraged to buy at least a piece of art. Kuuliza bei, we were told some figures three times my salary then! Since the event was in Westlands na huko hakuna vibanda, we ended up at Gpot for late dinner and a good laugh!
In short, Jeridah Andayi I miss you every day. I miss you more during the holiday season
