Nyeri Archbishop Anthony Muheria warns that the high rate of corruption is taking the Kenyan economy to its knees.

While poking holes on the wealth of the cabinet secretary nominees who have been vetted and whose report awaits tabling in parliament today, Archbishop Muheria noted that some of the nominees declared wealth that is almost ten times more since they joined the government.

The archbishop said although they attribute their wealth to their business, it is too much wealth.

He said corruption is an evil that has taken over society and is driven by greed and the desire to steal to acquire more wealth.

He has at the same time called for all the leaders to be accountable and focus on service delivery.

Digital content creators in Kenya now have two new monetization features from Meta.

The company announced that in-stream ads on Facebook and Facebook ads on Reels will enable creators to earn money to craft original videos and cultivate the community.

The expansion is expected to empower eligible creators in the vibrant creative industry in Kenya to earn money, whilst setting the bar high for creativity across the world and making Meta's family of apps the one-stop-shop for all creators.

The new features are available starting today, to enable eligible Creators in Kenya earn money for their videos and reels content, with support in over 30 languages globally including Swahili.

Kenyans living and working in Lebanon instructed to register for evacuation amidst the unrest in the Middle East.

This as foreigners have been fleeing the country with the international airport in Beirut extra overcrowded with departure attempts.

The Kenyan government through the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs announced that it has set up an urgent evacuation and released hotlines urging Kenyans in Lebanon to get in touch for evacuation purposes.

Those with family members in Lebanon have also been provided a call line for ease of safety coordination.

Massive crowds of foreign nationals have gathered since Sunday at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport, trying to get on any flight out of the country as embassies continue to advise their citizens to leave Lebanon immediately due to the possibility of war between Hezbollah and Israel.

American hurdler and sprinter Sydney McLaughlin says that she would take her love for Christ and that relationship over a gold medal any day.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist and world record-holder is set to begin her Olympics campaign this Sunday, August 4th in Paris, France competing in the first round of Women's 400m Hurdles.

Sydney authored her first book “Far Beyond Gold: Running from Fear to Faith,” which was released this year.

She made history in 2016 at age 16 as the youngest U.S. Olympian to compete in track and field since 1972.

She joins a growing list of Christian athletes who are making public their faith to Jesus Christ following the backlash towards the Olympics opening ceremony in Paris France.

Michelle Ntalami announces giving her life to Jesus stating, “I have received the greatest gift one could ever have! On the 21st of August 2023, I had a life-changing encounter with God Himself.”

"I have done my fair share of publicity for myself, others, and brands. But today, I do it for The Lord Jesus Christ," she posted on Instagram.

"As an astute businesswoman, life was beautiful. However, behind the success lays a heart that was deeply wounded by different human experiences along the journey of my life. Being an empath, the hurt began to take a toll. Last year, I hit rock bottom. One night in total surrender, I cried out to God questioning His existence," she added.

The 39-year-old founder of Marini Naturals recounted how she felt what she termed as the most overpowering rush of love and light engulf her! Noting that a thunderous, beautiful voice called her name “Michelle” 3 times.

She went on to say that He (God) blinded her and threw her to the floor and in that moment, she knew that she was in the presence of the Lord!

"Then God said; ‘Yes I am real. Yes, I have seen your pain and I have been there through it all. Yes, I AM.’ Then, for about an hour, God showed me visions and spoke to me about so many things in my life," she posted.

She attributed her absence on social media for 9 months to God isolating, sanctifying, and even guiding her to go out to the world.

"From that day, my life has never been the same. God healed my heart and set me free. I’ve experienced a peace like no other. I’m not perfect. Walking with Christ is a journey. I was a sinner, saved by the Blood of Jesus. And my past life is a true testimony to this."

She pledged to give her life to Jesus saying that, everything she does in her life including all her influence on social media, will all be for the Glory of God adding that she will be on fire for God because He is on fire for her!

"One of the visions He gave me- may my story save souls and touch the world!" she said.

"To you, friends, fans, followers, and even ‘foes’ who would like to join me in my new Chapter, welcome! We will walk together in Christ."

A Pennsylvania pastor survives a shooting in the middle of his Sunday sermon when the attacker's gun jammed, giving congregants time to subdue him.

Footage of the attack shows pastor Glenn Germany diving behind his lectern after a man approaches, raises his arm, and aims a gun at him.

Police identified the gunman as 26-year-old Bernard Polite.

After Polite's arrest, police found another man fatally shot at his North Braddock home.

The victim was identified as Derek Polite, 56.

Police have not yet commented on Bernard Polite's relationship with him.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Department's homicide unit are now handling the investigation.

No charges have been filed in the shooting of Derek Polite at this point.

Jesus' Dwelling Place Church Rev. Glenn Germany, said he believed God had saved him from the attack.
