Kajiado East MP Hon. Kakuta Ole Maimai yesterday put on notice those salivating for the Kisaju land that the land belongs to the community and it shall not be sold by cartels close to some leaders under his watch.

Sources privy to the matter have intimated to us that area MCA OLOWUASSA has been visiting the land and claims that he has a 50 Acres stake and he has already brought Somali investors to the land which has caused tension in the area.

The infighting within Ilmusakara Clan is literally blowing out with sibling rivalry and to prove each other who has a say they are all declaring their interest on MP sit.

It started with Ole Matuyia that didn’t go well with veteran Mary Seneta and MCA Olowuassa who viewed him as young and new comer who doesn’t command the clan politics.

On the other side Ndovu who believes is closer to Katoo than the rest decleared his interest for MP sit. Before nightfall Olowuassa heard the news are spreading and paid an advert on Kajiado Star that he is as well vying.

A bird closer to the developments has confided in me that Ndovu, Matuyia are all portraying themselves as potential candidates to be nominated by Katoo as Deputy Governor while Olowuassa is eyeing Deputizing DG Moshisho in 2027.

The recent happenings have thrown the whole clan in limbo as this will complicate their politics given that Mary Seneta is still their preferential candidate. It’s a wait and see as the elders are schedule to summon them this week to cool the infighting.

This elections has a historical significance, first you dont need a Kikuyu deputy to win in Kajiado hatujafika mambo ya Narok, secondly you dont need deep pockets to endear yourself to the voters. Just a have a clear agenda.

Thirdly the youth are taking over leadership.
