1. Report to the Police Immediately

When your phone is stolen, immediately file a police report, providing details about your SIM card and phone type. This precaution helps prevent further victimization. Criminals often keep stolen phones active and use them for malicious activities, such as scamming for money or even committing violent crimes. By reporting the incident, the police will be aware that your phone is in the wrong hands, and any subsequent illegal activities will be attributed to the criminals.

2. Renew Your Line Immediately (Unless You Want it Tracked)

To prevent further misuse, renew your phone line as soon as possible. This will disable the criminals from making calls or sending messages from your stolen phone, ensuring your safety.
