We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Pritish Nandy, a luminary in the world of Indian literature and cinema. His contributions as a poet, filmmaker, and television producer have left an indelible mark on the cultural landscape of India.
Pritish Nandy was known for his thought-provoking poetry and his role in popularizing Indian television in the 1990s. His key works include the acclaimed poetry collection “The Man Who Knew Too Much,” and he was instrumental in creating iconic television shows like “Taal Thokke” and “Kahaniyaan.” Additionally, his films, including “The Burning Train” and “Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love,” showcased his creative brilliance and storytelling prowess

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, a revered leader and architect of India’s economic reforms. Born on September 26, 1932, in Gah, Punjab, Singh served as the 14th Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, known for his calm demeanor and commitment to inclusive governance
His tenure marked a transformative period for India, characterized by significant economic growth and global integration. Beyond politics, Singh was a man of integrity and compassion, dedicated to education and social welfare.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and all who were touched by his remarkable life. His legacy will forever inspire future generations.
May he rest in peace.
