What's on my mind abi?
Lakini mimi ni Shujaa wa nani?

Wooi😭😭😭
I'm all alone at my place but can't listen to the words. Nimeshtuka nikapunguza sauti lakini wapi😥. Too obscene. Such words are not just difficult to utter. Huyataji hata kwa mawazo.

Sasa kizazi hiki kitapata busara kutoka kwa nani k**a mtu unazeeka ukiwa mpumbavu kabisa😭

This should never happen. Lets join hands in raising every child in our society. Parent or no parent.
I've NEVER seen such ignorance in my lifetime. So unfortunate.

May our children grow in wisdom and respect.

When you die the pain is felt by others not you. The same applies to this kind of arrogance. Unfortunately.

HOW TO AVOID BEING SELFISH
Part 1

The story of the widow of Zarephath is a perfect example in matters giving. Despite the fact that she had very little flour remaining with little oil, something she was to use to make the last meal for her and her child, she agreed to give the man of God something first. The only meal their life depended on!

If i were in the woman's shoes Elijah might have gotten the shock of his life because the Callen Abugah i know would have maybe asked him, "Have i not just told you how little the flour is? We are talking about only a handful of flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug come on...and btw, do you know you are far better than me? You are a man and i am a woman with a child. What is so difficult for you to understand?" Could you please spare me the pain of explaining? I have no energy left. If you can excuse me.." As i leave...
But that is me, in my imagination.

The widow surely had no other way to find food since there was a serious drought in the land. The fact that she was gathering "a few sticks" as firewood tells us the only option she was remaining with was to wait for death. The thought of watching her only child die was already tormenting her.

She first makes some bread for the prophet of God anyway. This is because she trusted God to provide.
The jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry until the day God sent rain on the land. There was enough food for the widow, her child and prophet Elijah.

LESSONS
We need to learn to share everything. From the smallest to the only thing that your life depends on!
God wants us to depend on Him fully. If we do so, He never dissapoints!

Time is the most precious gift you can share with loved ones. Always make time for your family, relatives and friends.

While it makes them happy, it gives you fulfillment and a reason to live.

PEOPLE SHOULD LEARN TO OPEN UP.
I agree. But just how many of us are ready to make time, listen and understand without judging?
If you can not help, at least dont be the reason someone's life is harder. And dont be the reason they make a bad decision or even give up!

Nice evening.

There's no serious subject like mental wellness in our lives today. Someone may look jovial but you dont know what they are battling.
Even with the smile, people are emotionally drained. If you are able to reach out, please do.

LIFE IS SHORT. DONT WAIT TO BE HAPPY. CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY.

What is preventing you from being happy? What are you waiting for?
You woke up, you are alive, you have good health, peace of mind, be happy.

Maybe you are waiting for a dream car, a nice house, a good job; note they dont have to come as a combination. What you have is enough to make you happy. Dont wait for everything to fall in place.

Whatever you are yearning for may eventually come but maybe by that time you will have lost what you currently have.

Not everyone that has a car has good health. Not everyone that has a good house has peace of mind. You are not assured that what you already have will stay forever.

1Thes 5:17
Just be happy!

After 15yrs were added to Hezekiah's life, he used the chance wrongly.

2Kings 20:12-21
Isaiah 39
When the messengers pay Hezekiah a visit, we all expect him to use the opportunity to tell them about the goodness of God and the miracle he had seen. We expect to hear the story of a God of second chance from Hezekiah but no, he doesnt do that.
Instead, he shows them his storehouses-the silver, the gold, the spices, the fine oil, his armoury and all his treasures. A proud Hezekiah! He misuses the good opportunity that he could have used to testify about God.

Hezekiah forgot about the boil and how God had made him whole.
He forgot about the way he had cried, pleading with God.
He forgot about the miraculous signs of God; the sun going back 10 steps!

Human beings!

How many times have we misused an opportunity?
Are we any different from Hezekiah? If yes, what makes you feel like your life is not a second/last chance?
Truth is, we are even worse than Hezekiah.

When we need His help we humble ourselves so much but after He answers our prayers, we forget and then act like it was never a favour. We forget what it took to be where we are.

This might be your last chance. Use it wisely and for the glory of God.

Hezekiah's is no doubt one of the most powerful prayers in the bible!

I'm always moved by Hezekiah's words.
After getting God's message through prophet Isaiah he reminds God of how he had walked before Him faithfully with wholehearted devotion , always doing what is good in God's eyes. 2Kings 20, Isaiah 38

God hears his prayer and adds 15years to his life. 15 good years!
Is there anything you have done to God that you can use to claim any favour from Him if your life depended on it?
