Juliana Cherera resigns as Vice Chair of the IEBC

Resigning days before appearing in front of a nine-member tribunal appointed to probe her conduct and three other commissioners., she stated that her stay at the IEBC was no longer tenable after failed efforts to deal with corporate governance issues. Hilton set to open new Hotel in February 2023.

The hospitality chain Hilton will be opening a new hotel called "Kwetu Nairobi, Curio Collection by Hilton" in Kitusuru Area, along Peponi Road. It will be a luxury hotel with 102 rooms.

This comes after the announcement to indefinetely close the iconic Hilton Hotel in the CBD on December 31st after 53 years of operations.
