22 years ago, **Bafu Chafu** gave us the iconic “Blacksupremacy taking over” drop, which became the anthem for our DJ unit. We used to blast that line in every mix, and it helped put us on the map. Just bumped into him after all this time and finally got to give him the gratitude (and royalties!) he’s deserved since day one.

For those curious, “Black Supremacy Sound” was never about racism—it was about uplifting Black culture. When I moved to the U.S., I rebranded to Supremacy Sounds to avoid misunderstandings, but the legacy lives on. Big up Bafu Chafu for being part of our journey—respect every time!
