Even From A Young Age, It Was Quite Evident That Shaquay Was A Gifted Kid For He Wrote His First Song At The Age Of 15Yrs And He Was Also Recommended For Most Gigs In The Church Which Led The Church Le
aders To Count On Him For Praise And Worship Sessions On Sunday Services Regardless Of His Tender Age. He Participated in Church choirs And Became a Member Of A Singing Group Known As Chosen Generation Where He Also Was The Pianist For The Clique . His Passionate Obsession With Music Culminated Into His 1st Studio Single “Africa(My Mama Land)” In 2009 Which was a patriotic song for the green and Beautiful African Continent And How Her Inhabitants Express Their Love For Her;. He Continued Recording Whilst Improving His Skills On The Board And On The Mic. Experiencing A Surge in Hype And Buzz, With Gusto Shaquay Released His Next Single “Baba Indebukhani” In The Same Year Doing Shows In Both Kenya And Tanzania. In 2010 Shaquay Concentrated Mostly On Sharpening His Trade As A Producer And Sound Engineer Working With And Under the Tutelage Of A Myriad Of Top Notch Producers Such As Musyoka, R Kay, Samora(Chuo Records Kenya) and Chizzen Brain Amongst Others. In 2013, Back Behind the Boards as a Young But Accomplished Producer Shaquay Crafted His 1st Studio Prominent Project “Adwaro(Stay Here)” An EP; Which Did Relatively Well In Terms Of Sales And Hype. Shaquay Then A Recording And Performing Artist Continued To Perform Across The East African Community Building A Strong Fan Base. Off That Strong Showing In 2013, In The Late 2013 Shaquay Became a full time Studio Sound Engineer(At Studio Sawa Leemax In 2014 and Eastern Broadcasting Corporation 2014 and Mount Kenya Records Kenya in 2015) And Went Silent Without Releasing Any Song What so Ever. In That Time He Also Recorded Many Albums That Did Well In The Vernacular Market. As A Studio Sound Engineer, Shaquay Recorded Well Renown Vernacular Artists Such As; De Mathew, John Junior, Kimani Wa Turacco, Osogo Winyo, Onyango Alemo, Princess July, Osito Kale, Ken Wa Maria and Jamnazi Africa Amongst Others.
