Among all the sessions, Video Impact Training truly resonated with me. Being an aspiring content creator, I have a genuine passion for storytelling. My ultimate goal is to not only share my own experiences but also give a voice to the untold stories of others. Thanks to the exceptional training provided by Golypoon Kenya and NairoBits Trust, I firmly believe that by amplifying the voices of the marginalised, we can establish powerful connections and bring attention to the unheard. 🌟🌍

Today, we conducted a video impact training at one of Nairobits center's in Kibera. The session covered script writing, storyboarding, filming, and editing. We discussed the power of storytelling for social change and the learners shared their ideas for short films addressing community issues. We emphasized the importance of narrative structure and characters in script writing. The learners then visually mapped out their film ideas through storyboarding. Finally, they learned about camera techniques and editing software. The learners' enthusiasm and creativity were inspiring, and we look forward to witnessing the impact of their films on their community.
