Ketebul Music

Ketebul Music Ketebul Music is a not for profit organization incorporated by various stakeholders in the music production industry.

Ketebul means “drum sticks”; the word is derived from the Luo language of Western Kenya. The name was a natural choice for an organization that has a vision of an African society that celebrates its cultural identity and also recognizes the special role that artistes play every day in people’s lives.

Our very own Winyo Shiphton will be performing at the Addis Jazz Festival in Ethiopia next month from February 7-9, 2025.
This event, supported by our partners at SELAM, promises a celebration of jazz and African culture. We’re happy to see Winyo bring his unique Benga Blues to the Addis stage and represent Kenya in style.
To our friends in Ethiopia, don't miss this! Let's come together to celebrate music, culture, and creativity.

Yesterday, on 25th September 2024, our very own WINYO lit up the stage live in the Comoros Islands during the African Union's 6th Pan-African Cultural Congress. His artistic performance, blending Benga Blues and heartfelt melodies, brought a touch of Kenyan magic to the international cultural scene.

A huge thank you to SELAM for their invaluable support in making this incredible show possible!
