Appreciating myself for dedicated parenting to this beautiful princesses. If you know my parenting story and the challenges we have been through for my daughter to thrive to level, age and state,you can definitely attest to this glory.
THE BIGGER THE CHALLENGE THE GREATER THE TESTIMONY!

Have been through Thick and Thin
✏️She was born through a super urgent emergency cesarean section,it was traumatizing for sure.
✏️She was diagnosed with a congenital heart disease
✏️At 6 months she was confirmed to be a special needs child - Down Syndrome
✏️Her early age involved moving from hospital to hospital,there was no rest time, alot of time and finances were spent for her medical and healthcare expenses
✏️At 9 months we travelled to India for open heart surgery
✏️Before the age of 4 years she had undergone 2 surgeries
✏️For her to gain mobility and strength to walk,we had to undergo rigorous physiotherapy and at some point i had to learn to learn to be a physiotherapist,and do physio's at home.
✏️She finally walked at 26 months.
✏️There is alot to share about her,I can write a whole book about her story till 7 years only.....

This year,I have not been in the mood of writing story, probably because my book writing last year, might have fatigued me out.
Have previously shared parenting and down syndrome awareness stories....will repost them.

🖊️Have handled all this challenges, ups and downs, as a single parent (by choice)
🖊️From the initiation of motherhood, from pregnancy till age 4 years, i was a full time working mum, under employment, researching, studying and making effort to rise the corporate ladder ,and for sure i rose amidst all the parenting and health challenges, actually in those years, that's when my career picked up, full throttle, promotion after promotion and salary increases.
🖊️I learned, gained knowledge, grew my network, grew my skills, expanded to working in multiple departments simultaneously and rose to leadership roles.
🖊️At the same time i was making efforts to invest. I invested in a commercial property, setup a nutrition business, I built a home, setup a garden, reared chickens....and many more.
🖊️Setup a cereals business, at some point was selling rabbit meat, have sold fruits(MANGOES) on the road side.....GOSH WHAT i have not tried to develop me....
🖊️I was running a side hustle NUTRISUPA which is among the full time jobs that am currently building up and running.
🖊️From the age of 3 years to 4 years, in 2020 to 2021,I was in a very stressful toxic job, which eventually left me totally burnt out, stressed ,mentally ill, physically ill and depressed.
🖊️I eventually quit corporate work in January 2022 to focus on me and recover my physical and mental health. Have previously shared this stories,they are all in my book

IT IS DOABLE YOU CAN GROW IN YOUR CAREER, GROW YOUR BUSINESS,GROW ACADEMICALLY,UPSKILL,PARENT,INVEST,RUN A BUSINESS,HANDLE MEDICAL ISSUES,DO HOME SCHOOLING,PRACTISE SELF CARE,PRACTISE GRATITUDE,PRAY,BUILD A HOME,GARDEN,KEEP FIT,CONNECT WITH FRIENDS,BUILD CONNECTION WITH GOD,READ BOOKS,REST,EAT HEALTHY....and many many more.

It is doable,you can multitask,you can thrive holistically.
As I keep saying, you are a project, you are valuable, you are significant.

👀Look...Look...She is all grown up,bubly,intelligent,thriving,defeating all odds attached to special needs children.

✨She loves colors
✨She loves Dancing
✨She is noisy and social.....sometimes i feel the noise is destructive...
✨She study's in a regular typical school
✨Her cognitive ability is super
✨She is intelligent
✨Her speech has super improved

AM CELEBRATING THIS GROWTH
FOR SURE HE IS A FAITHFUL GOD,HE HAS BEEN IN FULL CONTROL.

HUMBLE BEGINNINGS - FROM SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR ON A TINY VERY SLIM KSHS.900 MATTRESS TO OWNING A STANDARD LIVING HOUSE
The year 2011 is when I began living independently when I was at an Internship at United Sates International University Africa(USIU) located at Thika Road,Nairobi.

I rented my first living house which was a single room costing monthly rent of Kshs.2000.
I had savings of Kshs.6000, I used this amount to buy house accessories, left right and center this is the only money I had. Among the priority items I needed a bed, mattress and food. I did a lot of unending calculations, there was no budget cash for a bed, not even a better comfortable mattress.

So, I decided to buy a mattress only, again mattresses are not cheap(if you have bought one, you understand), from the 6k cash my mattress budget was Kshs.1000.I bought a very tiny mattress at Ukwala supermarket in Nairobi town CBD, a bathroom bucket, water heater jug, a few plastic utensils and food. And off I began my journey of independent living.

I slept on the tiny very thin mattress spread on the floor for 4 months, before I could afford to buy a bed. Fortunately, because of my work dedication and hard work USIU gave me a job within 2 months as I progressed with the internship. I was selected from a team of 25 interns as the qualified Information Technology Associate and I was hired.

Excellence is in my DNA, I always stand out. Its not easy though,it requires, commitment, hard work, extra effort and time, discipline. From 2011 to 2022 my corporate career journey was bright. Back to my housing story….
After 4 months, I had earned my first paid salary from a decent corporate job(IT Associate USIU). I moved to a decent bedsitter in Roysambu, at least I could afford a decent small house….
I was very ambitious, I worked in the new job for 4 months, by the 8th month in USIU I resigned. I got a new job,in an international education management institution along Mombasa road, Nairobi.
End of 2011, I moved in to a bedsitter in pipeline stayed for 3 years. When I was living in the bedsitter, my salary could afford a decent one bedroom house, but I was very strict with my salary. I was keen to save and invest, within two years, I was in the process of owning two pieces of land, one on long term paying mortgage and the second one off payment.

End of 2014 I moved to a one bedroom house in Fedha estate,Nairobi.
2017 I moved in to a two bedroom house in Syokimau,Machakos.
2020,I was a landlord, I invested in container commercial rental shops.
2021 I build my living house and moved, in 2022 ( I will not mention the location, I prefer to narrate past stories not present)
My growth has been gradual, it has involved a lot of discipline, hard work, dedication, and resilience………..
