Yesterday Kenyans participated in nationwide tree planting exercise to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change.

Climate change and effects thereof have seen our people adversely affected by floods, mudslides amounting to deaths and loss of property.

The clarion call is to ensure all of us conserve our environment to prevent such occurrence in future. This is only possible by taking it upon ourselves to grow trees routinely.

To Whom it may Concern!

The recent supremo battle that have emerged in the mighty Mt. Kenya region between DP-Rigathi Gachagua and Hon. Ndindi Nyoro are insults to our citizens. It is just one year after general elections of (2022) and we have set another campaign trail for 2027. Something must be wrong somewhere.

In my own opinion and observation, I see this supremo battle sponsored by powers that be. In UDA party constitution Article 13.3.1 prescribes the Presidential candidate to be the one nominating a running mate of his/her choice from within the party or party coalitions. This therefore is to mean, President Ruto is the one at an authority to fuel this battle or call the two political nemesis to order for the sake of service delivery.

I beg to enquire the candidature of Ndindi Nyoro as DP come 2027. My inquiry would be who is Ndindi Nyoro outside Kiharu Constituency and is he mature enough to carry the Mountain political interests at this age and time? Your guess is as good as mine. Remember, while he is trying to front his quest, he will be facing an experienced administrator and second in command H.E Rigathi Gachagua. It is not an easy task altogether.

Further, I see Mt. Kenya as being set for deeper division and wrangles at the expense of service delivery and development in the region. We cannot shy away from the facts that our politics are tribal and regional based. What is our take home as a region if we accept the unnecessary subject of succession politics? Where is the voice of reason.

In the event President Ruto opts for Ndindi Nyoro as the running mate come 2027 this will have a ripple effect to Mt. Kenya as a region. The president is cunningly courting for a weaker DP so that he can easily plan his succession come 2032 and he has shown preference to Musalia Mudavadi. Rigathi Gachagua is an experienced administrator and Government operative and by this Ruto feels unsafe with him going into the future. He is moneyed and unmoved.

In a nutshell, the supremo battle in Mt. Kenya are sponsored and are a game plan for 2032 succession politics which doesn't favor us at all. It is high time we shut our noises and seat together for a common good. Other regions are doing it and embracing unity of purpose for the sake of protecting their political dignity.

Sad News:

A 43 year old KDF soldier based in Nanyuki catches his wife red handed cheating with another man at Shimo area, Makueni.

The soldier caught the young man, 25 and subjected him to a harrowing ordeal. He tied his hands and legs tightly with a plastic rope, rendering him helpless in the face of the impending assault.

The soldier went to extreme lengths inflicting both physical and psychological torture on the young man. He pricked his private parts with a cactus, causing unimaginable pain, ruthlessly inflicting deep cuts on his face using a sharp object.

PRESIDENT RUTO AGREES TO MEET CJ KOOME WITH CONDITIONS ATTACHED

The head of state William Samoei Ruto gave conditions saying that the discussion will involve the leadership of the three arms of government.

Ruto stated,”Mkutano kati ya executive mimi nikiongoza, judiciary ikiongozwa na Chief Justice and legislature led by the Speakers. I am ready for the conversation on how we are going to deal with vested interests, incompetence and corruption.”

This comes a day after the Judicial service commission, led by Chief Justice Martha Koome, dared president Ruto to come forward and present evidence of corruption in the system.

She stated,” It is regrettable that the leadership of the executive and legislature in their recent public declarations have threatened not to obey court orders. These threats and declarations are extremely serious and a monumental assault on the Constitution, the rule of law and the very stability of the nation and can lead to chaos and anarchy in our motherland,“

Interesting political moves. Kikuyus are natively classified in three by way of their classical origins ie

(1). Nyeri (Rware)
(2). Murang'a (Metumi)
(3). Kiambu (Kabete)

When a Kikuyu from above three regions speaks, you can decipher easily their origins.

Politically, Metumi has been gracious and kind enough to support Rware and Kabete for presidency all with success. It is only Metumi that hasn't swang with presidency and they are being used to send white smoke that it is their time.

Metumi are purportedly fronting young Ndindi Nyoro to challenge the status quo. In the play field we have the son from Mathira nicknamed Riggy G and who has further declared himself as truthful man.

Is the push for Ndindi Nyoro to deputize President Ruto in 2027 meant to keep Molima busy and forget about the development agendas? Who knows but time will tell it all. 🤞🏾

EPRRA HIKES ELECTRICITY PRICES AGAIN BY 16.5% ON WEAK SHILLING

In a move that is bound to impact consumers across Kenya, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced electricity price hike, this time by a substantial 16.5%.

The decision comes against a backdrop of a weakened national currency ,as the shilling continues to depreciate against the dollar and other currencies.
