Harlequin have just pumped 61-10 past Stormers to end their 10-match winning streak.

Nick David struck a superb hat-trick as Harlequins stormed into the Investec Champions Cup last 16 with a commanding victory over a heavily rotated Stormers side at Twickenham Stoop.

The emphatic win lifts Quins to second place in their pool, and they can now secure a home knockout fixture with a bonus-point triumph against La Rochelle next Sunday.

Harlequins set the tone early, dominating the opening quarter as flanker Jack Kenningham, Cadan Murley, and captain Alex Dombrandt all crossed the whitewash to put the hosts firmly in control.

Stormers, who arrived unbeaten this season, chose to rest several of their key Springbok internationals, a decision that left them struggling to match Quins’ intensity.

Jason Gilmore’s men snapped a run of poor results in emphatic fashion, racking up five tries before the break. Chandler Cunningham-South and Nick David added to the first-half haul, underlining the hosts’ authority.

David went on to complete his hat-trick in the second half, with Zach Carr producing a classy finish before Jarrod Evans had the final say as Harlequins closed out a statement performance.
