Shaffie Zele, a renowned sports journalist and radio presenter, rose to fame after an unexpected interview with former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Initially working at Ruben FM, Shaffie faced challenges, including unpaid wages, but thanks to his friend Mbaruk Mwalimu who advised him to stay, encouraging that good will do him good one day and his work will pay off , this paved way for his success few weeks later.

His breakthrough came when President Kenyatta visited and granted him an interview, boosting his career significantly.

Currently, Shaffie is a sports commentator at Radio Maisha, working alongside Stephen Mukangai and Walter Kinjo.

A dedicated Arsenal fan, he is well-regarded for his engaging broadcasting style

Gathoni Njunguna, famously known as this is Gathoni is a popular radio presenter and also content creator

Having worked in several media outlets, she has gained a loyal following from a fan base who admire her work

Currently Gathoni has ventured in content creation immediately her contract was terminated by standard group, she worked hosting several shows, one that really picked up being that she did alongside Ann njogu "staarabika"

With no official communication from her if she will be getting back to the air soon, she's now fully doing kikuyu comedy where she looks to expand her influence in the digital space

Radio Maisha, known for its ability to pick up young talents and nature them to big names in the industry has been on the trend of retrechments of its known presenters and producers,

This is the possible reason why Radio Maisha decided to do away with all those big brand names,

Believing it had natured this names since 2010, the standard group owned station came to a conclusion that it was wise to give them freedom to go out and allow new young people.

Looking like rebranding, radio Maisha is determined to remain with only few of its old staff who will direct and mentor the young generation at the station

However, another factor that contributed to the retrechment was the high cost of keeping this big names, which at times became an issue to standard, having been mentored into the industry, radio Maisha officials believed they had enough influence to get greener pastures and open doors for a group of young fresh team again.

With the new management, it's determined to bring a fresh new look and people, to start another journey again.
