Wakisha Mtaa na Sonko

Today Hon. Cyrus Musyoka Sonko the MCA Ikanga/Kyatune Ward through his foundation Cyrus Musyoka Foundation has donated a street light to Chuluni shopping center in Ithumula Sub-location.

The Wakisha Mtaa na Sonko initiative is aiming at lighting all shopping centers accross the ward. Next is Kyatune.

The indefatigable and kind Ikanga/Kyatune Ward MCA Cyrus Kisavi Musyoka has today donated one street light to Mesilya market center through his foundation Cyrus Musyoka Foundation.

Three more street lights will be donated to different market centers across the ward in this coming week courtesy of the kind MCA.

Relief as 231 students benefit from the pro-poor bursaries courtesy of Governor Malombe and MCA Sonko

The Ikanga/Kyatune Ward MCA Cyrus Kisavi Musyoka alias Sonko today attended the validation event for the pro-poor bursaries issuance and priority projects proposed in the yesterday's public participation forums across the seven county villages of the ward. The event took place at the office of Ward administrator.

According to the report from all the villager administrators, 231 students benefited from the pro-poor bursaries courtesy of the Kitui County Governor and the area MCA Hon Cyrus Sonko.

All the projects which were proposed yesterday in each county village were discussed in the validation event today and passed in this level. The next step will be presenting them to the office of the Governor for implementation in the financial years 2024/2025 and 2025/2026.

In attendance, was the CECM for education Joyce Titus, County Director of Human resource Hellen Mutuku, the Ward Administrator, all the seven Village Administrators, the Ward Development Committee members and the MCA's Personal Assistant Richard Malombe as well as the Ward Assistant Nicholas Kivite.

MCA Sonko delivers, Ngwani Vocational Training Center workshop is now complete

The residents of Kyatune location and Ikanga/Kyatune Ward in large are very happy with their MCA Cyrus Kisavi Musyoka after complition of the Ngwani Vocational Training Center workshop.

The workshop will go a long way in fostering technical education among the youth of Ngwani and the neighbouring areas like Yaathi, Emale and Enzou in Kyatune location.

Speaking to Kanga News this evening, the indefatigable MCA has ensured his residents of continuous work collaboration with the Kitui County Governor so as his to deliver his manifesto effectively.

Breaking News: Man stabs woman after alleged disagreements in a lodging at Kitui, Kundakindu

A middle woman has been rushed to Kitui Referral Hospital with stomach stabs this evening. The victim was stabbed by her partner in an alleged disagreement in a lodging they had booked to enjoy their Friday members day.

The man has however run away with police commencing their investigations. More details to follow.

OPINION: THE COMMON SENSE REVOLUTION CONTINUES

In politics, handling enemies, their mockery and political witch-hunt requires a mastery of political resilience. In our area, Kitui South, one politician has for a long time depicted that mastery. The politician is none other than one Hon. Cyrus Kisavi Musyoka alias Sonko, the MCA of Ikanga/Kyatune Ward.

One thing I have learnt in Hon. Cyrus Sonko's political life is his inability to succumb to political witch-hunt and mockery. Over the years, time and again, he has proved that.

When his enemies have mocked him like there's no tomorrow he has continued his common sense REVOLUTION and philanthropic acts to his dear people. He has continued his development agenda across the ward.

The red sea has never been a destruction or obstacle to the promised land for the Kitui South Gen-Z general. He has remained astout and clearly proved that cowardice is not his portion. Political Enemies have undertaken all political elimination mechanisms with no notable success!

Like the Biblical David, The Lord prepares a table before him in the presence of his adversaries. His cup is always overflowing.

Ikanga/Kyatune Ward and Kitui South is lucky and blessed to have such a charismatic leader. May God bless Ikanga/Kyatune Ward.

Relief for Muikiio residents as MCA Sonko delivers this promise to them

The residents of Muikiio in Ithumula sub-location, Ikanga/Kyatune Ward now have a reason to smile as the area MCA Cyrus Kisavi Musyoka delivers his promise of lobbying for a dispensary for them.

The dispensary construction project has officially started today. The project is being funded by the County Government of Kitui courtesy of the area indefatigable MCA Hon. Cyrus Kisavi Musyoka alias Sonko.

This was one of the major MCA Sonko's promises in the 2022 general election. The hardworking MCA has promised to continue lobbying for more development projects for his people.

Busaa and muratina to be legalized if senate approves bill before it

You may soon freely enjoy a traditional drink of your liking if the senate approves a bill now before it that decriminalizes local Kenyan brews such as muratina, busaa and mnazi.

According to nominated senator Raphael Chimera who seeks to amend the alcoholic drinks control law, local brews have no effect and are largely drinks made to mark certain celebrations in most rural areas.

Senator Chimera, in his amendments says, the provision in law demanding one to get a licence to sell local Kenyan brews should be withdrawn and thus those involved be let run their businesses unperturbed.

Consequently, Chimera argues that neighbouring countries have embraced their local drinks such as waragi in Uganda and konyagi in Tanzania while Kenya continues to stifle the industry be introducing numerous hurdles.

Poleni sana💔💔: MCA Sonko's office today condoled with the families of Mutethya Musyoka and late Kasina Mulatya

The hardworking and generous Ikanga-Kyatune Ward MCA Hon. Cyrus Kisavi Musyoka alias Sonko today sent his personal assistant Richard Malombe and political team co-ordinator Simon Mwanthi alias Kajiado to condole with the family of Mutethya Musyoka at Tuvila Village, Kiangwa Sub-Location following the sudden demise of her two sons; Wickliffe Muema and Brian Mulwa who drowned in River Chania in Thika.

The two are currently in Itulu village condoling with the family of Late Sebastian Kasina Mulatya whose burial is scheduled for this coming Friday.

The MCA has financially supported the two families towards decent sent off of their beloved ones. May their souls rest well.

The office of the Ikanga-Kyatune Ward MCA today condoled with the late Kavula Mulwa's and late Mutie Kitonga's families

MCA Sonko today sent his personal assistant Richard Malombe and Political team Co-ordinator Simon Mwanthi alias Kajiando to condole with the family of Late Rev. Mulwa Vata in Ndangani village Kyatune location, following the sad demise of Jemimah Kavula Mulwa which came barely a day after the burial of her husband.

The two later consoled the family of Kitonga Masambia in Silanga Village, Kyatune location following the demise of their son Mutie Kitonga

Malombe and Kajiado shared the MCA's sincere condolence messages and financial support to the two families towards decent sent off of their loved ones. May their souls rest well.
