After 8 years of hard work, Akili Network has launched the first free-to-air children’s channel in Kenya, Akili Kids! TV, created for the 20 million children under the age of 15, their parents and caregivers. It couldn’t have come at a time of greater need, with schools closed and millions of children who cannot even leave the house because of the pandemic.

Our hope is to build the most trusted children’s and family brand in Kenya, with a curated selection of entertaining programs, each with clear learning outcomes, licensed from around the world, as well as original programming developed in Kenya, with Kenyan talent.We are working with incredibly talented local producers and content creators, and hope to create long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with everyone we work with.

We have created an incredibly protective child advertising policy to ensure the safety and well being of all of our viewers. We could not be more humbled to finally watch our broadcast on air.
