Radically shifting the landscape for pastoralists is the DRIVE (De- Risking Inclusion and Value Enhancement ) Project. A joint partnership between the State Department for Livestock, KDC and ZEP-RE aimed at safeguarding the economic livelihoods of pastoralists.
138,000 livestock farmers in ASAL areas have so far taken up the insurance package and are now assured of stability in the face of disaster.
