Former Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble Roble, who is currently on a working visit to South Africa, met with Somalia’s Ambassador to South Africa Mohamed Isak.
During the meeting, Roble expressed his deep appreciation for the embassy’s dedicated efforts in supporting the Somali community abroad.
Roble acknowledged the invaluable work the embassy has done to strengthen ties with the Somali diaspora and improve the living conditions of Somali citizens in South Africa.
“The embassy’s tireless efforts have not only enhanced the welfare of Somalis here but have also played a crucial role in bridging the gap between our people and the opportunities available in South Africa,” Roble remarked during the meeting.
During the session, Roble, along with embassy staff, was briefed on the progress and accomplishments of the Somali Embassy’s initiatives, particularly those aimed at ensuring the welfare of Somali nationals.
The discussions also focused on upcoming projects aimed at enhancing consular services and furthering economic, cultural, and diplomatic relations between Somalia and South Africa.
