You see,
Growing up, I yearned for validation from people
The idea of you are good enough, you are beautiful enough, you are smart enough, you are kind enough
I would do just about anything to receive that validation
And that's why I in most cases stood for less
I would be careful what to post online, what to say, how to say it, when to say it just so that I don't offend the people whose validation I so much yearned for

But fast forward, I realized that no matter how good enough I am for the world,,,they would still find faults in whatever I do
So I promised myself one thing
1. I'll never allow my daughter be brought down by people in her quest to find validation from people
2. I'll never allow myself to be a contributor to her losing her self worth, self confidence,self worth
3. I'll make sure I am open enough with her so that she doesn't have to seek my validation because from the word GO,,,she had my everything

And I'll try as much as I can to
1. Assure her that she is enough.
2. She doesn't have to do what other people expect of her.
3. Tell her she must be intrinsically motivated first before seeking for extrinsic.
4. It's okay to sometimes fail,,,,but what we do not allow is, staying in the same place crying our eyes out, instead, we wake up, dust ourselves and we are on the move once again.
5. It's okay to feel what you feel about people, animals,things. IT'S OKAY

Sometimes all you can do for yourself is go into hiding,resolve all the self doubt,denial,anger and bitterness you have in your heart so that when you resurface once again, you will be stronger and better your thoughts will be well organized inorder to sort out the challenges that you will face.
Just like an eagle goes to a place with extreme temperatures for change and comes back renewed, so will you trust in yourself,love yourself and everything else will fall into place.

Hi guys
So today I'll tell you a story about my mum
My mum doesn't eat anything fish,,,you name them
No matter how well it's cooked
Not that she didn't eat fish before, but because circumstances forced her to eat vegetables when everyone else was eating fish and it's supplements
Growing up,she told us a different version of the truth and you had to choose which truth you told
Now I am older and wiser, I got to know the truth
1. Sometimes you may love someone/something so much but you are confronted with letting go or hanging on the diminished hope.
2. Not everything we consume is what nourishes us, some hurts us,,,,,,the same happens when you indulge in habits that are toxic for you.

Don't hang onto something just because you can't bring yourself to let go
When in the real sense,all that it does is hurt you, makes you feel angry,pain and desolation
Let go of that that hurts you, because if it's really meant to be with you,it wouldn't hurt as much
Trust the process

A LETTER TO ANY YOUNG MUM OUT THERE
Today I wanna talk to any young mum out there
So listen and before you say anything, I am a mum to a very cute little girl.
I know many are the times when you are told there are 4 gowns in this life for a woman and that you should wear it in a certain order,,,,,,,and that is
1. UNIFORM GOWN
2. GRADUATION GOWN
3. WEDDING GOWN
4. MATERNITY GOWN

We are made to believe that if you wear your gown in this manner, you will likely lead a happy life,,,,,with time I realised that this was nothing but an illusion
So here is the thing
I know many of us didn't follow this order and that the only one that we accomplished was perhaps the uniform thing and jumped straight to the maternity gown,,,,,,
But allow me to ask, are you happy?
I will be expecting more yesses than No
Why?
Because the maternity gown gave us a new and profound joy( our babies 🥰)
But here is the thing
Some people aren't lucky enough to wear the Uniform even for a single day( am glad that now many children can go to school) but they are made to wear the maternity gown and unfortunately that's the only gown they get to wear over and over again in this lifetime

But something happens along the way
You might have started with the uniform and progressed to the maternity gown but that doesn't mean that you will never get to wear the other two gowns
😘😘
Here is something that I came to learn
The uniform gown is the most crucial part of the gown
Why???
Because it's a basic need that seeks to make one knowledgeable enough to comprehend things and situations
But after that, it doesn't matter how you choose to wear your gowns thereafter
If they come as written above, why not?
If they come in a mixed manner?? Why worry as long as you find fulfilment and happiness in the order that they occur then by all means go for it
And many women unfortunately don't get to wear the wedding gown but rather end up compromising for the come we stay because they already have kids
But this shouldn't worry you as long as you remain happy

❣️❣️What am I trying to communicate today??❣️❣️
1. It doesn't matter what order you follow just know that your baby is a priceless treasure that you can never regret about.
2. If one gown comes before the other, embrace it because we don't know what lies ahead of us and that it's only God who knows.
3. You can wear all the gowns you want to as long as you put your mind to it. You can wear a graduation gown after having a maternity gown on and afterwards God blesses you with a wedding gown
4. Trust the process,,,,,, don't listen to the negativity other people will try to rub on you,,,,,keep your focus ,,,,chase those dreams you had put on hold and I want you to know that having to wear a maternity gown on earlier is even better because it comes with much more zeal and determination to succeed.

BEING A YOUNG MOM ISN'T A CRIME IT JUST MAKES YOU MATURE YOUNG 😊😊
