EARLY 2025 TOUR OF MY FARM IN GANGU VILLAGE ASEMBO

Village life is calm and peaceful. People live in small houses and mostly work on farms. They grow crops, raise animals, and help each other. Life moves slowly, and there is less noise and pollution. People enjoy spending time with family and friends and often have simple, outdoor activities.

Village life is a serene blend of nature and simplicity. Having a village to go back to is a blessing. No matter how much you want to achieve there is no other place in the world where you belong more than your village.

Join me in this video, in an inspection visit of the ongoing construction of Obambo Modern Market in Alego, Market Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP) a multi-billion project initiative being undertaken jointly by the National and County Government of Siaya intended to boost Kenya’s economic growth targeting small scale traders in line with the Micro Small and Medium Enterprise economy pillar.

The market will have an ultra-modern single floor each with over 200 traders capacity, smart stalls. The ground floor will mainly consist of smart stalls to provide display space, storage and security of their wares, cold rooms, stores and lactating mothers rooms. The first floors will accommodate: revenue center, ICT hub, social hall, food court and an ATM lobby. With a kids playing ground outside the building.

An offsite ablution block accommodating ladies, gents and PWDs will be provided as part of the facility.

The ESP Market at Obambo in Alego, Siaya County is part and parcel of the Kenya Kwanza Government’s BETA agenda, with specific emphasis on women empowerment.

The last couple of months I went out to explore and compare the Capital city of Kenya - Nairobi city (The gateway to Africa) and Kisumu city (the 3rd largest city in Kenya and the 2nd cleanest in Africa).

My exploration wasn't sponsored by anyone, so this video is the raw reality of what i found in the ground plus my interactions with the residents of these 2 cities.... This video isn't meant for competition between these 2 cities..... rather I hope we can learn from each other.

I went all out to compare the green spaces, walkways, footbridges, public recreational facilities, public sports facilities, open spaces, bodies of water, trails etc etc

In this 1st episode, join me as i explore the newly rehabilitated Uhuru Parks (There is Uhuru Park in Nairobi and Kisumu). I can't wait for your reviews.

THE GOVERNMENT OF KENYA 🇰🇪 IS CONSTRUCTING A GIGANTIC MARKET MALL IN A VILLAGE IN ASEMBO, SIAYA COUNTY

There are several modern markets designed as malls under construction across the country by the national government in partnership with the various county governments. Siaya County has 5 of these markets and one of them happen to be in my village in Asembo. Join me in this video as I check on the construction progress.��The market will have an ultra-modern single floor each with a 200 traders capacity. SATURDAYS IS FOR NYOMBO IN LUO LAND !!! SEE JARO SOJA PAYING KSH 5 MILLION DOWRY IN CASH

I recently attended the Nyombo (Traditional Luo Wedding / Dowry Payment) of renowned Gor Mahia fan Jaro Soja Gor Mahia 001 in Kanyamwa, Ndhiwa - Homa Bay County. Where Jaro Soja paid dowry of Ksh 5 million cash and several cows. With a promise of more cows in near future. The people of Homa Bay are lucky, it isn't every day that you get a son-in-law with an Aide-De-Camp.

In this video, I highlight hhow we were received by the people of Ndhiwa and some of the Luo cultural customs concerning nyombo ....what happens when a couple decide to divorce after paying cultural dowry. There is the Waro dhok....

With the water bus transportation people from Homa Bay and Siaya counties can now transport their cows easily for nyombo.
