👉 Every year in December I review what I accomplished in the year and prepare the goals for the next one.

👀 It is a good way to keep track of what is happening, how I am doing and what I need to change to achieve my long term goals. ✅

📝 I love this planning phase, even if in the end things come out in a different way than I thought they would.

👉 When I started my video editing and webinar support path in 2017 I signed up for an online course called Webinar Bootcamp.

There I learned to moderate and support a webinar and to record and edit it too! 💻

📝 We had a final assignment: to hand in a 15 minute recording of a private webinar.

At the time, Kris helped me by allowing me to record his quick explanation on how to get the best deals on EBay. 👀

The Webinar Bootcamp was the first of a series of courses I took in 2017 to develop my skills and experience on webinar support and video editing. I learned so much on that course! 📚

📸 Are you taking pictures this summer? 📸

📌 The amount of pictures I have on my 📱 phone is huge! When I download the pictures to my computer I always need to separate the actual pictures I want to keep from the I’m-too-lazy-to-write-down-so-I’ll-take-a-picture-instead images.

👉 I organize them by folder of year taken then in a sub folder with the name of the trip so I know when and where it happened (e.g. Pictures/2022/Universal Studios trip/).

👉 Then I usually select the best ones and get them printed to put on my physical picture album or in a frame around the house (I still love printed pictures!).

👉 I have also been known to make a video with them in chronological order so I can show it to my friends.

📌 Another digital way to share or watch your pictures is to get them into a digital picture frame. It creates a slide of your pictures so you can keep seeing them.

I like to do a review of the week and the planning of the next week on saturdays. The library is a great place to get out of the house and do some planning work.

For this I was remembering how in 2017, for the first time since I started my , I attended a live in person conference outside my city!

I went to Ottawa by train and I stayed in a hotel for one night!

It was nice to make personal contacts with some colleagues in the conference and after the presentations I even got someone to go out into the Ottawa nightlife with me and we found a Lindy Hop event to dance on!

The whole trip was a very intense experience and a blast at the same time!

And the answer is: I help my clients with the creation of their video courses, podcast episodes and short social media videos

📌by providing guidance (some of them are new to recording themselves),

📌by editing their video and audio (like removing the erms and mistakes),

📌by creating outros for YouTube and social media and organizing & optimizing their YouTube channel among other things.

📌With the nice weather out, one of my favourite ways to relax is to daydream in my hammock!

I watch the birds and squirrels, the leaves of the trees and the sky. It calms me down, refreshes my creativity and patience. I love when the weather warms up enough for my hammock time! ☘️🌳🦋
