So I know I have been very quiet lately but lots has been going on but I'm excited to finally share the first episode of your new YouTube series for the First Rock Project!!

Episode 1: Return to Kidero

In 2023 Jahawi & Elke returned to the Rock Gongs of the Kidero Mountains to re record them with state of the art sound equipment, meet up with our friends from the Hadza community and most importantly bring the music back to those we made it with. This trip back couldn't have turned out any better and we were even invited to one of the most sacred Rock Gong sites. Watch the film to find out how it went!

There is a lot to think about before heading out into the field for a shoot and preparation is key. Having grown up on the Kenya coast we have experience and contacts to organize the logistics involved in pre-production including permitting.

There are very few who can capture underwater footage on the continent and with a background of over 12 years filming underwater and over 30 exploring it. We have the experience and understanding to ensure our footage is captured safely and ethically.

We also can organize logistics of pre-production and bring together the final film in post.
