Good people, its been a while since we communicated on this forum and a lot has happened, which we've been taking stock. I'll be communicating the way forward soon.

Today, I had the singular honor of meeting and congratulating my sister and friend the HON. Penina Malonza, the Cabinet Secretary nominee for Ministry of Tourism And Wildlife - Kenya.

Penina is not only a distinguished, humble and God fearing daughter of Kitui South, she's the first ever Cabinet Secretary from Kitui South since independence, and we're all proud and delighted on her appointment. Her nomination is well deserved and actually God send for Kitui County as a whole.

Like every Kitui South resident, am grateful to His Excellency Dr William Samoei Ruto, the President of the Republic of Kenya for honoring Kitui South with the coveted Cabinet slot. To God be the glory.

We ran against each other in the Election but today came together to reject the results because they were clearly rigged.

We know what transpired to steal the vote and we'll not allow DR. Rachael Kaki CBS to impose herself again on Kitui South people, like it happened in 2017. The results announced by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC) do not reflect the will of the people.

We urge all our supporters to remain calm as we pursue justice for Kitui South.

Between now and August 9th, let's endeavour to guard to our votes by being extra vigilant against all forms of voter bribery, especially some crooks linked to DR. Rachael Kaki CBS who are buying ID cards at Sh1000 to prevent our people from voting.

It's a wrap. With profound gratitude and great humility, am happy to announce the super endorsement by professionals from Ikutha sub county led by my longtime friend Ambassador Tom Wambua.

Ambassador Tom Wambua (in glasses) is a prominent businessman in Nairobi and the Consular General for the Republic of Iceland in Nairobi - the equivalent of Iceland ambassador to Kenya.

Tom as he's fondly known is a respected son of Kitui South and a crucial voice in consolidating votes for myself and presidential candidate Raila Odinga across the Constituency.

Together with Paul Ngei Kasimbu, Wakili Bernard Kitindio, Kirk Mutua Mbiti, Musau Kasimbu and several others, they have joined me on the campaign trail in Athi and Ikutha wards, to ensure every vote counts to bring change in Kitui South.

This far, with 5 days remaining to Election Day, we can only say, it is Ebenezer.

This gracious mother from Ikanga/Kyatune ward delivered this profound mesaage through singing during our campaigns at their Tutu village, in Kathungu sub-location on Sunday.

It is God's doing. And the mission to rescue Kitui South looting and destruction is unstoppable. May God bless us all as we march to Election Day.

Mutha and Kanziko wards have eight established secondary schools each. But none of these 16 schools have a school bus. Transporting teachers and students to sporting and education events within and beyond Kitui South has been a risky affair and a huge challenge for these schools. This marginalisation of our learning institutions in Mutha and Kanziko wards hasn't been by default but by sheer design, to make even the school going population feel less dignified. Newly established secondary schools in the other wards have buses, yet old schools like Muthue Sec, Mutha Sec, St Louis Mathima etc, dont have buses because for ten years, they have been discriminated and marginalised by outgoing MP DR. Rachael Kaki CBS. In my first year in office, I'll initiate an affirmative action plan to support two schools - one in Mutha and the other in Kanziko to have school buses, to ease mobility of students and give these communities some pride. This discrimination will not continue under my watch. This is besides my overall plan on education to improve schools infrastructure, equitable award of bursaries to all students and supporting our teachers to improve academic performance.
